If you are looking for a fulfilling experience, you owe it to yourself to learn how Silvus can be the next chapter of your career.\n\n\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nThe Director of Sales, United States Marine Corps (USMC)works with and directly reports to the Senior Director of Sales DoD and Unmanned Systems. The successful individual in this role will be focused on increasing sales of Silvusโ MIMO-MANET products within the USMC account domain and will actively participate in all aspects of the sales cycle. This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location. \n\n\n\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n* Sales Management: Direct and oversee the entire sales process, targeting customers in line with the company's strategic objectives. Responsible for not only initiating customer interaction, but also guiding the final sales and ensuring successful follow-up.\n* Business Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with partners and customers in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) market. Identify new programs, market segments, and opportunities that build on the companyโs core MIMO solutions.\n* Event Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events to support sales development.\n* Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, changes, and competitor actions that may impact the company's positioning. This includes setting and meeting an annual target for new business to support growth in the USMC market.\n* Pipeline Management: Contribute to building a robust pipeline of business opportunities. Regularly update the CRM database with a forecast of opportunities to help inform key business decisions.\n* Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our MIMO solutions. This knowledge will help effectively communicate the value and benefits of our products to customers and prospects.\n* Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric approach in all dealings. Promptly address any customer concerns or complaints and use feedback to provide improvements.\n* Travel Requirements - up to 50% of the time, but variable.\n\n\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n* Bachelorโs degree from an accredited university or college; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience. \n* Prior US DoD military service, with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility throughout military tenure.\n* Deep understanding of USMC procurement and MARCORSYSCOM, MCTSSA, and PMTCE program offices. \n* Knowledge of military C2, C5ISR, EW, or SIGINT applications.\n* Military/Aerospace industry and acquisition experience.\n* Solid understanding of US DoD funding and procurement cycles.\n* Experience leading all phases of business capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP response, teaming, strategic positioning, etc.).\n* Must have clearance at SECRET level; OR the ability to obtain a SECRET US Government security clearance within 12 months of the start date.\n\n\n\nPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES\n* Bachelorโs Degree from an accredited university or college. \n* Minimum 4 years of demonstrated business development and sales experience in a technical field.\n* Demonstrated business development and sales experience in autonomous military systems.\n* Extensive USMC or Naval Special Warfare (NSW) experience.\n* Strong technical acumen and understanding of USMC tactical communications challenges and solutions.\n* Leadership, management, and program management experience.\n* Track record of successful sales of MANET and/or radio solutions and a working understanding of alternative MANET technologies and their relative strengths.\n* A track record of working with resellers and distributors and overseeing their activities.\n* Strong communication skills.\n* Familiarity with CRADA formulation and execution.\n\n\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n* Office environment.\n* Trade shows.\n* Outdoor environment for demos.\n* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:\n* - Lift equipment for setup of demos and testing.\n* - Walking/Moving in the labs.\n\n\n\n\n$115,000 - $145,000 a yearThe salary range is NOT guaranteed, is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidateโs experience and qualifications\n\nNOTE - As a US Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment for any position (regardless of level) MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen).
