# Front-end Web Developer\nWe are seeking a Front-End Web Developer to fill the specialized role of Experiment Engineer. An Experiment Engineer manufactures HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript code to run on top of client websites that alters the experience of the site in an effort to improve the conversion rates of key performance metrics. They are comfortable working across a variety of different front-end frameworks and libraries as well as APIs. They must also be comfortable working to validate concepts by choosing the cheapest route to MVP versus over-engineering any particular task. They are familiar with CRO platforms such as Optimizely, Convert, VWO, and Google Optimize.\n\n**Responsibilities include:**\n\n* Develops efficient and robust experimentation code using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript which is injected on top of existing client sites via experimentation software such as Optimizely, Convert, and VWO.\n* Engages as a technical consultant, providing web development expertise and insights, on internal and client-facing video calls. \n* Communicates thoroughly and sets clear expectations with Project Managers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and clients.\n* Offers ideas and provides feedback to help grow and scale Cro Metrics as a business.\n\n**Qualifications & Experience:**\n\nThis is a high communication role, and while no specific experience is required, you must be capable of learning new technical concepts quickly, regularly, and be able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\n* 2+ years of experience writing HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript in a professional environment.\n* Critical thinking — You can analyze a problem, craft a solution, and love iterating on your own processes. Every experiment is unique and has a different set of challenges so we often find ourselves in uncharted waters.\n* Attention to detail — You have high attention to visual detail, can interpret specifications, can communicate detailed instructions, and leave no edge case unattended.\n* Updates internal documentation to help ensure site caveats and learnings are available and disseminated to peers.\n* Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, calendars, spreadsheets, etc).\n\n**Nice-to-haves:**\n\n* Experience with A/B/n tests or with leading testing platforms such as Optimizely, Convert, VWO, etc.\n* Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Zoom.\n* Has worked in professionally in eCommerce or web-development, especially modern frameworks (Shopify, WordPress, etc.) and libraries (React, Angular, etc).\n* Computer Science degree or professional experience in back-end development.\n* Experience working fully remotely.\n* Knowledge of User Experience concepts.\n* Knowledge of Agile concepts.\n* Agency experience.\n\n**Our Hiring Process**\n\nWe’re glad you’re interested in working with us. We have a fairly unusual hiring process, but it has proven to work well both for us and for potential new hires. We have found that demonstrating basic competency is the best predictor of initial qualification for working with us, followed by actual work.\n\nOur process reflects that: below, we outline our values and how we work, and then ask you to complete a small task. Assuming we like your response, we will hire you for a “paid interview” where you start working with us for a small number of hours each week. If both parties like working together, we expand the relationship. If not, we go our separate ways and both sides “won” in the deal!\n\nIf you have questions as you go through this, make notes and if we haven’t answered them by the end, feel free to email [email protected] or [email protected] \n\n**Company Benefits**\n\n* 100% remote, continue to work from where you are based\n* Health insurance reimbursement allowance\n* Retirement plan with 4% company match (subject to a 3 month waiting period)\n* Professional gear (e.g. MacBook, monitor, and noise-canceling headset)\n* Annual All Hands trips\n* Paid Parental Leave\n* Liberal vacation policy\n* Access to group performance coaching sessions\n\n**Our Culture**\n\n* **Remote has always been our thing.** We’ve been fully remote since 2010, so unlike companies that have been remote since March of 2020, we designed our company and culture behind the principles of high-performing remote teams. We’ve always believed remote is the future of work, and much like the experimentation we do, have iterated a lot along the way in a persistent effort to get it right.\n* **We’re a remote company.** We are spread out all over the country. Daytime availability is required for syncing with the team via Slack or Zoom, but Experiment Engineers enjoy all the flexibility remote working has to offer. Want to go on a mountain bike ride in the middle of the day? Cool, don’t forget your helmet! Need to pick the kids up from school? Nice, you’ve got parent of the year in the bag. We stay connected through both synchronous and asynchronous communications.\n* **We value elegant code as much as you do, but we move fast.** We’re writing code that runs on top of existing websites. Some tests only run for a few days before disappearing (though some do so well they become a permanent part of the client’s site). There will be polling patterns and liberal use of !important.\n* **Again, we’re a remote company.** That makes communication — including writing and reading comprehension — extremely important. This is not a simple “pull tickets and give sign off” gig. Successful applicants enjoy collaborating across teams, defining and clarifying needs, documenting processes, improving processes, and uploading custom emoji to Slack.\n\nYou can read more about our [culture and values here](https://crometrics.com/culture/) or [learn more about the team](https://crometrics.com/meet-the-team/).\n\n**Our Stack**\n\n* **Email/Calendar:** GSuite\n* **CRO Platforms:** Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, Convert, AB Tasty\n* **IDE:** Your choice. Most of our folks use VSCode.\n* **Messaging App:** Slack\n* **Video Chat:** Zoom\n* **Task Management:** Jira \n* **Documentation:** Confluence\n* **Code Repository:** GitHub\n* **Time Tracking Software:** Harvest\n* **Design Prototyping Software:** Figma \n\nAt Cro Metrics, our goal is to create a remote environment that celebrates the differences that make us, us. We strive to create an inclusive and equitable space, but we realize we don’t always get it right. We’re continually working together to create mutual respect and opportunities to learn from one another and we encourage people of color, women, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals to apply.\n\nWe’re looking for team members located in the U.S. regardless of race, ethnicity, age, national origin, marital status, parental status, veteran status, citizenship status, gender, gender-identity/expression, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information, and any other protected or unprotected class we may have missed. (BONUS: Did we miss anyone? Let us know and we’ll add it here.)\n\n\n#Location\nU.S. Only

Shopify is now permanently remote and working towards a future that is digital by default. Learn more about what this can mean for you.\n\nShopify is the leading cloud-based, multi-channel commerce platform. Merchants can use the software to design, set up, and manage their stores across multiple sales channels, including web, mobile, social media, marketplaces, and brick-and-mortar locations. The platform also provides merchants with a powerful back-office and a single view of their business. Shopify was engineered for reliability and scale, making enterprise-level technology available to businesses of all sizes. Shopify powers over 1,000,000 businesses in over 175 countries — and here’s how we’ve been helping more merchants survive, thrive, and navigate the impacts of COVID-19.\n \nShopify is on a fast-moving mission to make the best products for merchants, buyers, and partners around the globe — and engineers play a vital role in building that future. Here are just some of the stories from the engineering teams who build and scale Shopify.\n \n*Intrigued? That’s great! We’re looking for Senior Software Developers to join our team, and maybe you’re the person we’re looking for!*\n\n**What types of Senior Software Developers might be interested in joining?**\n \n**Backend Development**\n\nAt Shopify, Backend Developers with a passion for solving tough problems with performant code work on teams that ship on quality instead of on time. Our teams deploy new code many times a day, and our production scale is massive. We’re talking over 1 million online stores, and hundreds of millions of requests a day. Thousands of entrepreneurs will see your work within seconds – a difficult but incredibly rewarding responsibility. Shopify is the largest Ruby on Rails application in the world and we're a big part of the Rails community. We’re constantly improving our codebase to make it even better.\n \n**Mobile Development (React Native, Android & iOS)**\n\nOur Mobile Developers work along with designers and product managers to build and launch new features for our apps. You’ll work on large-scale apps that are ever-changing, enabling entrepreneurship for hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs. Our Android developers use Kotlin and our iOS developers use Swift. Our teams are increasingly working with React Native so openness to cross-platform mobile development is a plus!\n \n**UX Development **\n\nAt Shopify, UX Developers work on building experiences inclusive of everyone regardless of location, language, device, assistive technology, or network speed. You’ll work across disciplines and are excited about building human-centered experiences. You’ll work closely with the teams that create compelling content, build awareness of Shopify, and communicate stories about Shopify's role in commerce to a global audience. Or, you might focus on creating thoughtful product interfaces for our users, shape our design language, and contribute to our shared component libraries in a maintainable and scalable way. Our teams primarily work with the latest web standards in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Ruby on Rails.\n \n**Web Development**\n\nOur Web Developers work closely with software engineering teams, designers and product managers to not only build incredible merchant-facing products, but also developer-facing tools. You’ll use modern technologies and frameworks like Typescript, React, GraphQL and Apollo to develop large front-end web applications that scale and perform well on all devices. Ruby on Rails is used to add and modify controllers, models, views, and integrating front-end code into a Rails application.\n\n**You’ll be working on things like:**\n\n* Collaborating with other designers and developers\n* Creating beautiful and fast code that improves our code base in meaningful ways\n* Using test-driven development to write well-tested code\n* Fixing bugs fast and taking your time to solve hard problems well\n* Contributing back to the open source community\n\n**Qualities you likely have to be well suited to this role:**\n\n* Experience using technologies and frameworks like (but not limited to) some of our most-used languages — Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Java/JEE, Node.js, PHP, Python, React or React Native — is an asset, but not required. Don’t have experience with many of them? No problem — deep experience with any object-oriented language and willingness to learn our tech stack goes a long way. (Also: Check out our StackShare here.)\n* Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things; Shopify changes fast, and we need the people who work here to be able to change and learn fast too\n* Experience with relational databases and SQL \n\n**Bonus Points**\n\nYou’ve mentored teammates on new ways to deepen their technical craft\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Are you a skilled front-end developer and do you have a talent for design? Do you want to impact Likvido’s product and become a part of our remote tech family? Then you might be our new remotely based front-end developer!\n\n**Who is Likvido?**\n\nLikvido is a fast-growing and ambitious tech startup based in Copenhagen with 38 employees working from all over the world. We were founded in 2018 with the vision of creating a product, that could provide companies with an easy and user-friendly solution for charging their invoices. Therefore, we are the first automated Invoice Management system on the market. Our goal is to automate the entire process of invoicing, reminders, and debt collection and thus ensuring companies time and cash flow to focus on their core business. We create cutting-edge technology which can save companies time and frustration and help support the growth and job satisfaction of our customers. We have just raised a seed round from a top fintech investor, and are planning our launch in the UK. \n\n**Why should you work at Likvido? **\n\nWell, we are a growing startup with big visions, great room for growth and passionate employees. You have the opportunity to impact Likvidos success in the future regarding the development of a top nudge visual product. In addition, you get:\n\n* A job with great responsibility, impact and many challenges\n* A steep learning curve and challenges from day one \n* Free meditation: We pay your Calm.com or Headspace subscription \n* Free books: You can buy all the books you need to stay ahead and learn new things \n* Free education: After working in the team for 12 months, we offer to pay your education \n* Free salary: Our vision is to enable personal growth for our team and business growth for our clients. If you have reached the limit of personal growth as part of Likvido, we will support you if your dream is to become an entrepreneur yourself. If you have worked at Likvido for at least 3 years, we offer to pay your salary for the first 3 months so that you can start your entrepreneurial journey. \n* Free sports: We have weekly sports activities paid for by Likvido and we offer to pay if you want to run a marathon or challenge yourself in other healthy ways.\n\n**Practicalities**\n\n* You will 100% procent remote along with our existing team\n* We pay a good salary and offer warrants for the right candidate \n* We expect you to be fluent in English, but danish language skills are NOT a requirement\n* The position is full-time \n* Your manager will be operating from Denmark\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n *Our situation is this: *\nWe have a product that thousands of customers love, we're growing fast and we have a very solid roadmap. We have a great sales organization and we know to scale getting to market. We're two co-founders that are very aligned, and we have a very strong vision for where we are heading.\nWe started with legacy technologies (jQuery and ASP.NET MVC monolith) because it was the fastest way to build our MVP, but now we are a serious business with (lots of) real customers. That's why we know that during the next couple of years, we need to do a lot of refactoring and use the newest front-end technologies. Our design needs a massive reconceptualization and redesigning. \n\nBeing the senior front-end developer, your job is to:\n* Be in charge of design and visual optimization\n* Implement new visual changes (HTML + CSS + JavaScript in Vue.js)\n* Be responsible for the front-end technical stack in the solution\n* Make sure we adopt component design and start to make “nice and reuseable” UI components around the site\n* Make code-reviews and be responsible for the HTML+CSS in the solution\n* You will participate in sprints like all other. We know we must redesign our front-end stack, and we will provide at least 50% of your available time to do this.\n* When we make new features, we also expect it will be implemented properly\n \n\n# Requirements\nWe expect you are passionate about what you do and carry out your work with great integrity. It is important to us, that you love your work just as much as we do. We expect you to take responsibility for your area and contribute to the success of Likvido. Also, we are looking for someone who can say “YES!” to the following:\n\n* I’m a senior front-end with 5 years of experience\n* It hurts my eyes when I see user interfaces that are misaligned or inconsistent\n* I have multiple years of experience designing and building great looking websites\n* I like working with the latest advancements in design and front-end technologies\n* I know how to make sure I build websites that work in all browsers - even IE, while still being able to leverage cutting edge technologies\n* I am proficient in JavaScript, and have experience working with Vue.js\n* Bonus: I am familiar with useful helper tools (such as storybook, JSDocs) that help me build and document my components in an efficient and team-friendly way\n \n\n#Salary or Compensation\n$46,000/year\n\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Note - you will be working remote for us, we prefer people in Asia as we are in Thailand and we like to work on matching time zones.\n\nAlso, please - no agencies or companies. We work directly with developers only.\n\nJigsaw Trading is a provider of trading education, trading platforms and advanced analytics. We are looking to add 2 more people to our team to work on our new charting module. This will be launched in July but that's just phase 1 and we see this as an area that will need permanent ongoing development work.\n\nWe are currently using a set of libraries called ChartIQ within our futures trading application. It's a set of HTML5/Javascript libraries that we have extensively customized.\n\nWhen we say "Financial Charts" - we mean the sort of charts used by people trading financial markets. This is financial time-series data. Candlestick charts, tick charts, market profile, footprint charts etc.\n\nWe need a developer to come on board - someone with both design and coding skills, to help us complete the project. Your skills should at least consist of:\n\n- Have knowledge of OOPS in JS.\n- Should be able to write test cases and good in debugging.\n- Knowledge of HTML Canvas is must i.e 2D and 3D both.\n- Worked on a charting library before which uses canvas.\n- Able to provide clear estimate based on conceptual design coding.\n\nThis means that for each major component we develop, we write a design first.\n\nRequirements come from us and you will be writing the design document. We don't want somebody that wants to be coding 100% of the time, we have to agree on the design approach first because performance is essential. We like to think before we code.\n\nWe have mostly completed the app but we have some bugs to sort out. The Javascript code is complex and is based on a set of libraries called "ChartIQ". We know how to extend ChartIQ but there's a number of issues with the existing code. This job is not for someone that has simply been designing simple websites. There is a lot of number-crunching and performance tuning required.\n\nThis person would be able to analyze the existing HTML5/JS code and help us design the last integrations to the other part of our app.\n\nWe would prefer someone that has done indicator/similar development on NinjaTrader, MultiCharts, Sierra Charts or some other mainstream platform. Someone that knows a Footprint chart from a Market Profile.\n\nThis will be an ongoing project, as we'll always be developing new types of charts to display.\n\nPlease quote a MONTHLY rate as this will be an ongoing project of at least 6 months.\n\nNote also - we aren't looking for an agency, we want to work with someone directly. This is not negotiable.\n\n# Responsibilities\n Design & Development based on our requirements. \n\n# Requirements\n- Have knowledge of OOPS in JS.\n- Should be able to write test cases and good in debugging.\n- Knowledge of HTML Canvas is must i.e 2D and 3D both.\n- Worked on a charting library before which uses canvas.\n- Able to provide clear estimate based on conceptual design coding. \n\n#Salary or Compensation\nnegotiable/year\n\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

UBIO has built the Automation Cloud, a platform which can robotically perform any online task such as reserving a hotel for your trip to New York, booking a flight to get there and applying for a credit card to pay for it all.\n\nWe are looking for an optimistic, versatile and resilient engineer who has developed highly user friendly frontend apps in Javascript or Typescript. You would have been involved with building apps which consume APIs and work on a number of different devices and browsers. We are a small Engineering team, relying on tools like GitHub and Slack to keep us communicating efficiently. We also rely on architectural principles and guidelines to ensure our colleagues can pick up our work in the future, if necessary.\n\nYou will work on the following:\n\n* Robot School - our automation e-learning platform\n* Backoffice - our frontend for UBIO admins and area partners\n* Dashboard - where automation stats are displayed\n* SDK - the product integrated into our partners’ apps\n* https://ub.io- Our company website\n\n# Responsibilities\n This is what you will be doing:\n\n* **Prototyping from Design**: from annotated designs, you will develop a prototype in code. You may need to develop a few prototypes before we can move on to implementation, should iterations be required.\n* **Implementing from prototype**: once prototypes are out of the way, you’ll expand on your initial prototypes to get your code ready for deployment.\n* **Maintaining existing apps**: our frontend apps are in production at the moment, so you will naturally help us evolve them and correct anomalies as they appear.\n* **Rubbing virtual shoulders with Product**: engineering works very close to our Product function. You will frequently liaise with a product manager to ensure business requirements are current and to realign on delivery expectations.\n* **Communicating your needs clearly and responsibly**: with the support of your Lead Engineer, you will be able to state clearly what is needed to deliver features in a timely fashion. You will do that with a good level of written and spoken English.\n* **Positively adding to our culture**: you have a positive outlook in life and you can also have fun away from technology. You are able to focus on how to overcome obstacles, rather than being overly impeded by limitations and dependencies. \n\n# Requirements\n* Exceptional Javascript, HTML and CSS skills (3+ years)\n* Demonstrable knowledge of programming best practices\n* Superb command of the English language\n* Good exposure to modern front-end frameworks: e.g. Vue.js, React\n* Good command of application modularisation and build tools\n\nIt would also be great if you have:\n\n* Worked in a KanBan setting\n* Knowledge of documentation best practices\n* Exposure to GraphQL \n\n#Salary or Compensation\n$35,000/year\n\n\n#Location\nEurope/uk
