\nSemanticBits is looking for a full-stack engineer to help us build modern data pipelines for digital health services. The project involves analyzing, transforming, and loading interesting and complex datasets in the health and life sciences domains.  You will work with modern pipeline technologies like Luigi and MapReduce to efficiently process large numbers of datasets.  This data will ultimately be loaded into ElasticSearch and exposed via Node.js APIs to researchers internationally. Front-end is being developed using ReactJS.\n\nSome of the responsibilities of this position include:\n\n\n* Participate within a diverse Scrum team on a daily basis to build a modern digital solution\n\n* Design and develop data structures in an ElasticSearch NoSQL database\n\n* Implement scripts in Python and integrate into Luigi for loading diverse datasets from numerous public sources\n\n* Create REST services in NodeJS to provide access to the data\n\n* Write unit tests with Nose\n\n* Develop front-end using ReactJS\n\n* Perform regular peer code reviews\n\n* Document lightweight design on User Stories\n\n* Leverage virtualization tools like Docker and Vagrant to manage environments and Chef to automatically provision software\n\n* Facilitate automated building, testing, and deployment through continuous integration and continuous deployment with Jenkins\n\n* Deploy to scalable, fault tolerant AWS infrastructure\n\n\n
