If you are passionate about human-centered design, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity!\n\n\n\nResponsibilities:\n* Be committed to bringing joy and caring about end users.\n* Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for websites and products.\n* Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices.\n* Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.\n* Collaborate with content creators to update and refresh website content, ensuring compliance with federal 508 standards.\n* Implement design improvements to enhance the overall aesthetics and user engagement.\n* Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and messaging.\n* Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.\n* Translate research findings into actionable design solutions.\n* Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to align design goals with business objectives.\n* Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to various stakeholders.\n* Ensure designs are responsive and provide a seamless experience across different devices and screen sizes.\n\n\n\nSkills / Qualifications\n* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI).\n* 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for websites and digital products.\n* Knowledge and proven ability to meet federal Section 508 compliance standards.\n* A passion for user experience and HCD. \n* Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills and successful projects.\n* Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.\n* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.\n* Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and content refresh initiatives.\n* Excellent collaboration and communication skills.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
