Join us and say, "Hello future."\n\nAbout the Intern role:\n\nAs Hederaโs Global Policy Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to work on novel, complex, and exciting global policy projects that touch topics such as blockchain/digital ledger technology, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, banking, financial inclusion, human rights, innovation, international trade, national security, privacy, property rights, technology development, and Web3.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* Conduct policy research and draft memoranda analyzing policy issues.\n\n* Draft letters, blogs, submissions, and other external materials.\n\n* Summarize remotely-attended global policy events.\n\n* Update policy tracking systems and schedule meetings.\n\n\n\n\nSkills and Experience Required:\n\n\n* Excellent critical thinking, policy research, writing, and verbal communication skills\n\n* Have a demonstrated interest in digital assets and blockchain/digital ledger technology\n\n* Strong understanding of U.S. policy making process. Familiarity with European Union and United Kingdom policy making processes.\n\n* Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills\n\n\n\n\nEducation: Must have earned a BA/BS. Preference for candidates currently enrolled in an accredited graduate public policy degree program. \n\nHours and Pay: Intern is expected to work 15-20 hours per week. $20-23 per hour. Internships are non-exempt positions.\n\nLocation: Remote. If located in the Washington, D.C. area, potential for occasional in-person meetings. \n\nQualified candidates will be asked to complete a brief timed writing exercise.\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
