**** This is for US only applicants *****\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to professionalize our testing procedures. Currently, we do not have much of an organized QA process in place and we've grown to a point where that needs to change. We have a decent amount of Automation Testing, but we need better procedures in place to support its usage, along with the implementation of a whole testing process. We are a small digital agency with a very large project. \n\nQA Manager's responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)\n\nThe QA manager role plays an important part in our companyโs product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.\n\nUltimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback \n- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases \n- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities \n- Execute automation scripts and provide feedback to engineers on failure\n- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs \n- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved \n- Develop and apply testing processes to reduce bug flow into production\n- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements \n- Monitor debugging process results \n- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions \n- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts \n\nRequirements\n\n- Proven work experience in software quality assurance \n- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes \n- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases \n- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing \n- Hands-on experience with executing automated testing \n- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process \n\nAbout Blue Orange Digital\n\nFounded by a team of freelance engineers, Blue Orange Digital wanted to bring an engineering approach to the agency model.
