\n\nWe are looking for a System Operations Manager to lead and represent our Server Based Gaming Operations team. \nAs our System Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing and supporting daily core system operations, providing technical support for the Plurius system and continuously improving our support, operations and monitoring services.\n\n\nYOUR TASKS\n* Supervise and carry out monitoring tasks concerning all relevant system components and services\n* Roll out system components and corresponding hardware, and configure our system accordingly\n* Lead and oversee internal and external technicians and manage day to day operations\n* Resolve crisis situations through proactive escalation of key customer issues to appropriate levels, including individual business unit managers and engineering design teams\n* Maintain a thorough understanding of our customers' business, current and future\n* Handle tickets (manage events, incidents and problems)\n* Proactively identify errors in internal smoke tests\n* Rapidly restore services when errors occur\n* Manage spare parts inventory to ensure system availability without excess stock\n* Communication and documentation of team tasks (transparently and seamlessly)\n* Account Management: on site visits with customer (min. 1x a week)\n\n\n\nYOUR PROFILE\n* Suitable educational background would be an advantage (technical vocational school or university)\n* Similar (technical) work experience, ideally in the gaming industry\n* Experience providing 2nd level B2B support e.g. as part of a service team or product sales\n* Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills\n* Technical affinity and an interest for the gaming industry\n* Outstanding customer skills (service oriented thinking), Strong communication skills and team spirit\n* Independent, service and process oriented work style\n* Very good English skills (both spoken and written) , German is a bonus\n* Willingness to educate yourself further, both through corporate training and knowledge sharing as well as on your own initiative\n* Driving license necessary (own car beneficial)\n\n\n\nBeneficial skills\n* Experience in operating and configuring IT systems\n* Experience with monitoring systems\n* Experience with ticketing systems\n* Basic knowledge of ITIL\n* Testing experience a benefit\n* Basic knowledge of databases (MS SQL, MySQL and/or Oracle)\n\n\n\nOUR OFFER\n* Challenging tasks in a successful and innovative company based in a central location in Vienna\n* Opportunities for personal development as part of the company's sustained growth\n* A welcoming working environment in a committed and international team of employees from more than 30 countries\n* Flexible working hours and numerous benefits (health care, employee discount, events,)\n* Extensive training by mentors\n* Reimbursement of additional travel costs for an interview and support with any necessary relocation from abroad\n* A yearly gross salary of xxx,- for applicants with at least xxx years of specific experience and willingness to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualification\n\n\n\n\n\nHOW TO APPLY\nIf you are interested in this position we are looking forward to your application including motivation letter and CV.
