\nAs Director of Sales Engineering at Rocana, you will be the champion for customers and what they need to succeed at every step. You should be someone who’s deeply technical, but also have great people skills as you will direct the engagement of Rocana with many of our customers. You will be the leader of our Sales Engineering team responsible for the entire pre-sales process through hand-off to the Customer Success team.\n\n\nDevelop solution and customer proposals, deliver product and solution demonstrations\n\nRefine the core sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept (POC)\n\nConduct POCs and technical projects\n\nWork with sales management and clients to design, create and present business solutions to improve client revenue growth\n\nCoordinate with sales in the development of account plans for larger clients\n\nProvide advice and support to requests for proposals (RFPs). Present recommendations and associated benefits to clients.\n\nProvide product and solutions education to sales and other areas of the company as needed\n\nPromote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are implemented and supported in line with client expectations\n\nGather requirements for delivery team to ensure solution design and level of effort estimates\n\nProvide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product marketing\n\nParticipate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader
