HashiCorpโs Vagrant is an open source tool for building and distributing development environments. It provides declarative, config-driven engine to manage environments on local virtualized platforms such as VirtualBox or VMware, in the cloud via AWS or OpenStack, or in containers such as with Docker or raw LXC.\n\nWe want you to contribute to the development and maintenance of Vagrant and Vagrant Cloud, in tight collaboration with the large and growing Vagrant community, utilizing software engineering skills to work across a diverse set of infrastructure providers.\n\n# Responsibilities\n
In this role, you can expect to:\n\n* Support new and existing Vagrant drivers and providers\n* Contribute to Vagrant's integrations with other HashiCorp projects, such as Packer and Terraform\n* Help support open source contributors, new and seasoned, with supportive and constructive code review, documentation improvements, and workflow changes\n* Advocate and support improvements to Vagrant internals and exposed APIs\n* Work on Vagrant issues and improvements critical to the success of HashiCorp customers and the broader community\n* Support Vagrant Cloud, the mature Vagrant box-sharing SaaS \n\n# Requirements\nYou may be a good fit for our team if you have some combination of:\n\n* Comfort with a scripting language (like Ruby) and a typed language (like Go)\n* Experience with customer support or OSS community support (to help interface with the Vagrant community)\n* Interest in virtual machine/container concepts and ecosystem\n* Experience with operating systems other than Linux and OS X \n\nPlease mention the words **FIRST EMPTY DURING** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4xMzguMzMuODc=).
