\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code\n\n* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.\n\n* Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.\n\n* Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code\n\n* Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application\n\n* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs\n\n* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization\n\n* Build and maintain mobile applications that integrate with a micro-service back-end\n\n* Responsible for the development and documentation of best practices for his/her area of expertise.\n\n\n\n\nSkills\n\n\n* Accountable for application security principles including the development of secure coding standards and practices.\n\n* Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes\n\n* Connect Android applications to back-end services\n\n* Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices\n\n* Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements\n\n* Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines\n\n* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN, GIT etc...\n\n* Familiarity with continuous integration\n\n\n\n\nRequirement\n\n\n* 5+ years of Mobile Application Development Experience - Proficiency in Android development\n\n* Team player and must be willing to work in an agile environment\n\n* Experience working with offshore development teams, reviewing code, pair programming, implementing creating UI/UX.\n\n* Experience working in an agile environment\n\n* Experience configuring, managing, and using Jenkins for continuous integration\n\n* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills\n\n* Experience implementing complex business logic\n\n\n\n\nNice to Have\n\n\n* Basic experience in project management\n\n* Experience with JIRA, and Confluence\n\n* Experience with payments industry\n\n* Bachelor of engineering is recommended\n\n\n
