The Finance Analyst will be responsible for preparing accounting information and managing financial transactions with Remote Yearโs customers, banks, vendors, and partners. \n\n**Responsibilities include:**\n\n**#Receivables management**\n*Analyze best invoicing options for customers (US and worldwide).\n*Manage invoice spreadsheet (base, add-ons, discounts)\n*Invoice customers monthly \n*Track payments, send reminders and resolve customer queries.\n\n**#Payables management**\n*Analyze best payment platforms for Remote Year (domestic vs. foreign wires vs. credit. cards). \n*Approve payment schedules in new contracts (based on financial model).\n*Manage payments tracker with ops team.\n*Pay vendors on time.\n*Track payments.\n\n**#Accounting**\n*Work with external accounting partners on process & execution.\n*Set up recurring meetings to keep books moving forward.\n*Create automation to reduce time input needed each month.\n*Think through and execute on a wide range of complex accounting situations\n\n**#KPI management**\n*Propose Remote Year KPIs.\n*Build system to gather KPIs on recurring basis.\n*Build template for management read-out.\n*Present KPIs and recommendations to management (recurring).\n\n**#Process Development**\n*Document and understand all current-state back office systems and processes\n*Propose improvements to optimize current-state processes\n*Determine optimal future-state processes as business continues to increase in complexity\n\n\n\n\n\n**About You:**\n\n*Love breaking down complex information into useful insights for different audiences - board members, team members and vendors. \n\n*Have an excellent understanding of database management, how data flows between information systems, and how to best manipulate large-scale systems to achieve reporting objectives\n\n*Are experienced in building processes around auditing and error detection when dealing with large data quantities and able to build error detection into day-to-day processes.\n\n*Have a background in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance or related field.\n\n*Have experience in setting up and managing financial transactions, payments, reconciliations and vendor relationships. \n\n*Are extremely detail oriented, superbly organised and work well within set timelines.\n\n*Love providing stellar service in each interaction with colleagues or vendors.\n\n*Have worked with QuickBooks and other web-based transaction platforms\n\n*Have superb Excel and quantitative analysis skills\n\n\nExtra tags: Finance, Accounting \n\nPlease mention the words **SLAM QUARTER CORRECT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4yMS4yMzMuNDE=).
