Candidate Profile\n* The successful candidate will be a self-driven Senior DevOps Engineer with proven experience in large-scale microservice systems hosted on AWS\n* The candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, AWS technologies, and cloud security best practices\n* The candidate will be following the latest industry trends and be passionate about cloud computing for large-scale systems\n\n# Responsibilities\n
Key Responsibilities\n* Work in a team of DevOps and DBA professionals โ initially 3 people, although this will expand throughout the country expansion\n* Improve existing infrastructure and processes in the 3 countries weโre currently deployed in as well as streamlining processes to hit our goal of deploying to 20 new countries over the next 2 years.\n* Holistically improve all aspects of our infrastructure, including reducing costs, improving build and deployment times, streamlining environment provisioning, lowering load times, incorporating the latest techniques and technologies, and more\n* Monitor and maintain the existing cloud infrastructure via autoscaling, automated alerts, and OpsWork and Zabbix dashboards\n* Take ownership and responsibility for our cloud operation activities\n* Liaise with external security agencies for annual audits as well as perform our own internal security sweeps\n* Aid in reconfiguring existing architecture to allow for rapid deployments to new countries\n* Report to Lead DevOps Engineer \n\n# Requirements\nSkills and Educational / Qualification Requirements\n* fluent in written and spoken English\n* 2+ years of specific experience with large-scale, AWS-hosted, microservice systems\n* 3+ years of general experience in the tech industry\n* Experience forming and leading teams is beneficial\n* Working knowledge of database architecture and management (preferably MySQL & Oracle)\n* Experience configuring and managing network architecture, including load balancing, caching, setting up CDNs, routing, subnetting, etc.\n* Bachelor or Masters degree in a related subject would be beneficial\n* Understanding of Java/Spring, Android, and VueJs deployment pipelines is a plus\n* Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines\n\nTech Stack\n* Backend Application Framework: Spring Boot (Java Config + Embedded Tomcat)\n* Frontend Application Framework: VueJS\n* Micro Service Framework:Spring Cloud Dalston (Netflix Eureka + Netflix Eureka + Netflix Ribbon + Feign)\n* Database Sharding Middleware: Lede Cetus\n* Database: MySQL and Oracle\n* Public Cache: AWS ElastiCache + Redis\n* Message Queue: Apache RocketMQ\n* Distributed Scheduling: Dangdang Elastic Job\n* Data Index and Search: ElasticSearch\n* Log Real-time Visualization: ElasticSearch + Logstash + Kibana\n* Business Monitoring: Graphite + Grafana\n* Reverse Proxy: Nginx\n* Server Virtualization Container: AWS EC2\n* Server Operation System: CentOS\n* Static File Storage: AWS S3\n* Inner DNS Resolution: AWS Route 53\n* Network Management: AWS VPC\n* Cluster Management and Scaling: AWS OpsWorks\n* Cluster Monitoring: Zabbix + AWS CloudWatch\n* HTTPS Certificate Management: AWS Certificate Manager\n* Malicious Attack Defending: AWS WAF & Shield\n* Cluster Alert: AWS SNS\n* Continuous Integration/Deployment: SaltStack, Apache Maven, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline \n\nPlease mention the words **FOSSIL MEDAL CELERY** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4yMS4xMDYuNjk=).
