We offer an entrepreneurial, high growth environment that values fresh ideas, candid conversations, and authentic teamwork.\nAmida is currently looking for a Mid-Level Software Architect to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will focus on a wide range of activities that include assisting in planning and reviewing customer technical/architectural standards and advise the customer and the team on industry best practices. You will also assist with the design and development of complex IT technical solutions that adhere to best practices and industry standards. This individual will also provide expertise in Enterprise Architecture framework and modeling.\nWhat you will be doing:\n* Work with technical teams and stakeholders to gather technical data to build out a system architecture\n* Develop Enterprise architecture diagrams\n* Provide inputs into business process re-engineering incorporating pros and cons for a given technical solution\n* Prepare and present client-facing deliverables that are related to technology and system architecture\n\n\nWhat we are looking for: \n* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field \n* 6+ years of experience with job functions related to Enterprise Architecture\n* 1-3 years of back-end development experience including Node.JS and Python\n* Prior experience using Git/Github, preferably contributing to an open-source project\n* A firm grasp of RESTful API design and scalable web architecture\n* Experience writing data parsers in a variety of formats, ranging from ASCII files to XML/JSON structured data\n* Prior experience working with data science, machine learning or natural language processing\n* Experience developing software applications in an Agile environment\n* Prior experience working with the ELK stack including Elasticsearch\n* Prior experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure\n\n
