\nThis role will suit a senior developer who is ready to take the reins on what will be an intense period of work turning a mainly server-side application into a client-side one which will be used by thousands of people every day. Our priority is to enable a fantastic end-user experience - including re-designing many of our current product features.\n\n\nWe have already stretched our (mainly back-end) dev team quite far in figuring out what is going to work, and we've settled on react.js because of its innovative approach. Your job will be to take the skeleton architecture and turn it into something impressive, scalable and works for our users. \n\nYou will be joining a core team of two full time devs (one in the UK, another in Spain), supported by one or two contractors. Being a small team we find we can move really fast and rather than 'hit the ground running' we're ideally looking for someone who is able to travel at velocity without actually touching the ground. Getting this work done is a critical part of our plans for the rest of year - lots of product changes and feature enhancements will rely on having a much more responsive and flexible front end, that can evolve rapidly.\n\nA day in the life of coding for YouCanBook.me would include several of video hangouts with the CTO, cross checking your work with him and other colleagues via chat / Breeze.pm, working to weekly deadlines, rolling out continuously to our mirror AWS dev environment. Also be prepared for flying off for the odd conference or week long on site session with the UK team, reading up and getting excited about trying out new technologies, helping out with the inevitable production firefight, getting the satisfaction of incrementally transforming the whole technology structure of our product, working direct with the customers to help solve their problems.\n\n\nThis will be your job. Look at the requirements below - we're happy with strong transferable skills in any of these technologies as long as you can convince us it will get the job done.\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
