\nOPPORTUNITY\n\nYou’ll be a part of an innovative high-tech startup with a passionate and exceptionally talented team, building the front end web application for Dropsource. Our team works agile and truly values individuals over processes. Our approach yields high quality features, but we are not afraid to step out of that methodology when we think it makes sense.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nAs a Front-End Developer at Dropsource you will help analyze and develop new features for the front-end of our web application. You will be expected to collaborate with designers, developers and QA to ensure we are efficiently shipping product.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\n* Implement new features using React JS, HTML, and CSS\n\n* Write unit tests for newly developed features\n\n* Refactoring existing code where necessary to keep our codebase up to date and best practice\n\n* Work with designers to analyze and validate new features before they are built. This will include analyzing UI/UX designs to give feedback on technical feasibility as well as helping to build functional prototypes\n\n* Engage with QA team to debug and resolve issues\n\n* Implement analytics to track user actions and behaviors within the product\n\n* Track metrics for new features deployed to production to ensure they meet performance and usability requirements\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\nThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:\n\nMust have:\n\n\n* Experience working in an agile team\n\n* Extensive experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Ember, etc.)\n\n* Knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript patterns\n\n* Experience working with designers, testers and other developers\n\n* Experience writing JavaScript unit tests\n\n* Basic knowledge of good UX patterns\n\n* Solid understanding of data structures\n\n* Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field + 3 years of experience building complex applications for the web. Or equivalent experience\n\n\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n\n* Contributions to open source projects\n\n* Have an online presence (personal website, blog, portfolio, etc.)\n\n* Experience with React, ES6, Gulp, Webpack, SASS, Mocha\n\n* Experience working with a server-side technology like Node.js, Scala\n\n* Experience with CSS animations\n\n* Familiar with the design philosophy and constraints of mobile platform app development\n\n\n\n\nDROPSOURCE OFFERS\n\nDropsource is headquartered in downtown Raleigh, NC and offers flexible office hours, telecommuting options, competitive salaries and benefits and equity participation.\n\nDROPSOURCE (QUEUE SOFTWARE INC.)
