#UsWe are a small London based startup still in *stealth mode*, working on a photo application that will challenge the photo sharing apps currently on the market. Thinking differently from the usual names, we want to offer a new approach to our users, and to do this, we are looking to expand the pool of our developers. We are very small and pre-beta, with so many great things to accomplish and we want people to be committed to do what we do. We are looking for pigs, not chickens.##How we do things**Nine to Five is very 1990** and we don't believe in it. We don't reward hours, we reward results. You can be in London, California, China or Australia (or in all the places one week after the other) and it won't change a thing for us. We use chats, Skype, task management applications and we are immune to office politics. The managerial style is very relaxed and target driven: we want to see good quality software, and we are not interested in micro-managing how you do things. The CTO has almost two decades of experience in development and has a passion for photography and how images can drive changes and tell stories.#You**You want to change things**, you are not afraid of taking risks and playing with cutting edge techniques to make the web a more enjoyable place. You breathe photographs, eat jpgs and the only sprite you know is not something you drink. You are an exceptional, result driven person who is not afraid of saying *'I made a mistake'* and does not shield behind excuses.Experience is important, but attitude is key. You are a doer, for you *'impossible is nothing'* and you are a quick learner. Having at least a couple of years experience will open the doors to your CV.Last, but not least, you think **code is poetry**, and shortcuts are for those who do not understand that poetry.##What do you eat every day (must have)- PHP5- Laravel- HTML5- CSS3- Javascript- GIT##What of you like (Nice to have)- Responsive design- Organisational skills of a ninja- Experience working in a TDD Environment- Knowledge of asana GTD environment#The RoleThe various applications you will be working on may change from time to time. ๐ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site.
