Come join a small team of the best developers we can find around the world to build our next big product, MoovCheckout. We are enjoying working hard together as a team and looking to add a few more key people to the effort. Moovweb currently powers experiences visited by one-third of mobile Americans each month. The product involves solving some interesting problems:\n\nProcessing big streams of real-time data\n\nA big front-end problem that others have not been able to address\n\nThis role is focused on the front-end of the product - specifically on the React components that run on mobile devices (smartphones/tablets) to deliver an awesome checkout experience.\n\nOur stack:\n\nModern JavaScript (webpack/Babel/ES6/ES7)\n\nNode.js/io.js, Rails\n\nAWS Kinesis/Redshift/Elastic Map Reduce\n\nReact, C3.js/D3.js\n\nHeroku\n\nVagrant, Travis CI, and Code Climate\n\n \n\nWe’d love to tell you much more about it when we speak.\n\nYou are a great fit if you have these experiences and qualities:\n\nFast learner; curious by nature\n\n4+ years of experience developing production code\n\nDeep experience with at least one of the technologies above, especially React\n\nPassion for JavaScript\n\nPassion for software and your craft. You care about creating great software architecture, clean code, testing, documentation, proper tooling, etc.\n\nStrong ownership of your own and your team’s work\n\nExcellent communication skills\n\nWell-organized\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nKnowledge of web architecture (HTTP, APIs, web stack)\n\nAbility to understand product and translate it into code\n\nFearless - you view challenges as opportunities and embrace them. You learn from failures and move on\n\nBias to Action - you jump into ambiguous issues without hesitation\n\nMoovweb is headquartered in downtown San Francisco, but we are open to you working remotely.\n\nWe offer competitive salary, equity, and other benefits including 401(k), full medical/dental/vision package that includes support for families, unlimited vacation policy, a nice office atmosphere: community volunteering, sports groups, [email protected], fully-stocked kitchen, Yoga, games nights, Moovie Nights, and fun team outings in the beautiful Bay Area.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.\n\nExtra tags: Javascript, React, node.js, AWS, Rails, ES7

πŸ‘‰ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. That is a scam! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site. Remote OK accepts no liability or responsibility as a consequence of any reliance upon information on there (external sites) or here.
