**About Us**\n\nNannyML is an early stage venture funded start-up. At NannyML we build enterprise software for supervising and correcting ML systems in production. That includes detecting data and concept drift, estimating performance loss and suggesting corrective actions as well as a dashboard that presents all these insights for business and technical users. Our goal is to ensure that ML systems keep adding value and that insights that can be extracted from ML systems are clearly communicated to business stakeholders. We want to make ML in production effortless to interact with and extract value from.\n\n\n\n**About the Role**\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build a great product. You will be working closely with the founding team. Our expertise is in leveraging business information, exploiting data and prototyping data solutions. Your expertise comes in to complement the team: you will be responsible for product development from the software and data engineering side: from designing engineering processes, brainstorming with the founders, through prototyping and first implementation to architectural choices and frameworks. You will have the ownership and the decision making power to shape everything that lies between product and research. As we grow NannyML we expect you to grow with us. We envision your path may grow your position into VP of engineering or similar.\n\nWe are an early stage startup, and so you will wear many hats and be expected to do what's needed for the company to succeed, including working on things that you don't know anything about and at weird times from time to time — we all are. You will have the opportunity to get meaningfully involved in the areas of product, engineering, hiring and people management among others.\n\nWe value freedom with responsibility, transparency and a growth mindset. We believe in generating our own luck by trying out new stuff, always asking, constantly learning, reading and meeting new people with different world-views. We value trying new things, and appreciate that from time to time things may break in the process. Working at NannyML you will have full autonomy to make impactful decisions and prioritise and organise your work the way you see fit.\n\n**Please do not apply for this role if you are not physically located in Europe, Africa or the Middle East (UTC-2 to UTC+3) or you are not fully willing to relocate immediately. This is a fully remote position, however we will be working with you very closely, so significant work hours overlap is necessary. You also need to be able to fly to Belgium or Portugal as needed.**\n\nExperience with early stage product is absolutely necessary. If you don't have such experience please do not apply. Please bear in mind that this is not a web development position, while web development might be a small part of what you do, it is not going to be your main focus.\n\n**Responsibilities**\n\n* Integrate and productionize Data Drift detection and prediction algorithms\n* Develop and deliver CI/CD, version control and testing frameworks\n* Brainstorm new features and shape the product road map together with the founding team and clients\n* Architect, design, and hands-on build the software\n* Produce clean, well-documented and efficient code\n* Handle automation, infrastructure and orchestration\n* Help with implementing NannyML at clients and with clients on-boarding\n\n**Requirements**\n\n**Basic**\n\n* You significantly contributed to building an early stage product\n* You have experience working with data (such as ML systems, big data or building data heavy products like BI tools)\n* Great communication skills in English - both oral and written\n* You are extremely proactive, independent and comfortable with proposing new ideas — and holding your ground when you believe you are right.\n* Strong experience with Python in back-end development, infrastructure or data engineering\n* 5+ years working as a Software Engineer or in a similar role\n* You live in or are willing and able to relocate to EU time zones\n\n**Bonus points**\n\n* You were the first engineer or the lead engineer in a venture funded startup\n* Experience with data engineering tools and containerization\n* Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks\n* Experience building enterprise grade software\n* Significant experience with on-premise deployment and integration with enterprise IT systems.\n* Basic familiarity with Machine Learning\n* Masters degree in a STEM related field\n\n**Benefits**\n\n* Fully Remote Working Environment\n* 23+ Days of Planned Leave Annually\n* Paid sick leave and private healthcare plan\n* We support paid parental leave\n* Home office, work and well-being allowances (for yoga, gym etc.) and other nice benefits\n* Stock option plan\n* Salary: 54,000 - 66,000 EUR/year\n \n\n#Salary\n$49,000 — $78,000\n\n\n#Location\nEurope, Africa or the Middle East (Utc-2 to Utc+3)

## Krit is a growing digital agency that partners with Cyber Security startups to design and build innovative new products.\n\nWe typically work with 8-12 clients at any time on projects like:\n\n* Designing a web app to visualize the background noise of the internet and uncover the next wave of cyber attacks.\n* Creating software to help Fortune 500 companies visualize opportunities for attack within their networks and improve their security.\n* Building a dashboard used by security teams at city governments and utilities to detect abnormal web traffic.\n\nOur clients’ products have been used by brands like Dropbox, Lyft, Microsoft, Nike, Yale University, and more.\n\nLast year, we made $700,000 in revenue as a company and are on track to increase that this year. We’re a bootstrapped, transparent company and share our profits with our team. 🎉\n\n## We’re looking for a creative, user-focused designer\nWe’re looking for a Designer with an eye for detail and a passion for creating software that looks great and is easy to use. You should have experience producing wireframes and high-fidelity, interactive mockups. You should also be comfortable owning a project from start to finish and collaborating within a small team. Coding chops aren’t required for this role, but an interest in learning how to build your design in code is a plus.\n\n**Detail oriented**\nMost of your work will be creating production-ready, high-fidelity prototypes that will serve as the blueprint for our developers to implement. You should have a sharp eye for details in your design and pay attention to things like consistent typography, spacing and use of color.\n\n**User focused**\nYou will be working with clients to create products that solve real problems for their users. You should always be thinking about the people using the software you design and make thoughtful considerations for things like error messages, empty states, and edge cases.\n\n**Eye for aesthetics**\nWe create software that solves problems and looks great doing it (nobody wants to use ugly software!). You should be a creative visual designer with an understanding of how aesthetics impact user experience and perception.\n\n**Accepting of feedback**\nWe believe sharing and getting feedback on designs early and often produces the best work. You should seek out feedback on your ideas as a way to push your work to the best it can be.\n\n## What to expect at Krit\nYou’ll be working with clients and our two designers, Austin and Iris, to take ideas through a full design process that includes wireframes and high-fidelity, interactive prototypes. This will be a mix of new products and new features/redesigns for existing products. For new projects you will own the entire process from user interviews to high fidelity mockups. You will have an opportunity to learn from our talented team and to mentor more junior designers.\n\nThis role will be joining our lead designer and junior designer as the second addition to the design team. This means you’ll have a lot of room for growth and influence as we continue growing the design team.\n\n**Your responsibilities will include:**\n\n* Producing wireframes and high-fidelity, interactive prototypes for new products and features (we currently use Figma for designing and collaborating)\n* Conducting user interviews and analyzing analytics data to guide clients on design directions\n* Working with other Kritters to ideate and explore design directions for new products\n* Writing microcopy for your designs\n* Participating in design critiques with the Krit team and with clients\n* Working with developers to help them understand and implement your designs\n* Learning to code your designs in HTML and CSS\n\n**In this role, you won’t be responsible for:**\n* Branding and creative direction\n* Project management\n\nWe primarily use Figma for wireframing and prototyping, but we make sure to use the best tool for the job.\n\n**You’ll be a human, not a number**\nWhile we’re not perfect, we are super passionate about creating a great place to work. We’re striving to build a culture that’s respectful, kind, supportive, and challenging. You won’t just be a number here—you’ll have a measurable impact on the direction of the business.\n\n**You’ll be a part of an inclusive, transparent company**\nOne of our goals is to build a more diverse company. To us, this means diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, and national origin. We strongly believe in building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe and invited. We are also a fully transparent company. We share our finances, salaries, pipeline, and more.\n\n\n## All roles at Krit come with:\n\n💸**Competitive salary + profit sharing**\n\nThis will be a salaried position paid $80,000 per year. All full-time team members also participate in our yearly profit-sharing program and receive yearly raises.\n\nOur salaries and raise process are completely transparent, you can see our Compensation Model here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JIRE_t0jrFt1jQ1Awxsbq95LNQ3rqjN0Wi3dQck9s0s/edit#gid=1738148510\n\nFor this position we are looking for a Level 2 Designer.\n\n👩‍⚕️**Benefits**\n\nWe offer competitive healthcare plans, as well as dental and vision insurance and access to a 401k.\n\n🏖**Vacation days**\n\nAll Krit employees get 15 vacation days as well as 10 company holidays. Sick days don’t count as vacation, if you’re sick don’t make it worse with work.\n\n🌎**Remote, United States**\n\nWhile we have a home base in Charleston, SC, most of our team is remote. For this role, we are only considering applicants who are eligible to work in the United States.\n\n🕰**Flexible hours**\n\nEveryone is different. As long as you can be available for team meetings and are able to communicate effectively with the team, work when you work best. We do expect you to average about 6 billable hours per day.\n\n💻**Equipment budget**\n\nEvery new employee gets $2,500 to spend on equipment, so you can pick whatever works best for you.\n\n☕️**Co-working/Coffee budget (Remote)**\n\nWe want you to have the space you need to do your best work. We’ll give you up to $200 per month to put towards a co-working space. Or if you prefer going to a coffee shop a few times a week then we’ll cover the coffee tab.\n\n👼**Paid family leave**\n\nWe offer a family leave plan of up to 4 weeks paid vacation and 4 weeks unpaid regardless of your gender. \n\n#Salary\n$80,000 — $80,000\n\n\n#Location\n🇺🇸 US-only

Through our website, organizers create custom "hunts" for anything from onboarding new employees, touring museums, engaging at festivals, educating students and more! Participants can compete as teams or individuals to submit photo, video, text or GPS based submissions through our native Android and iOS apps.\n\nThe key aspects of our platform are:\n\n* Game Manager (Web): The game manager is where game organizers create and manage their scavenger hunt games. We have an incredible number of different use cases for our platform, with various levels of organizer experience, meaning this is a crucial area for us to get right!\n* iOS & Android Apps: When someone participates in a GooseChase, they do so using our native mobile applications. The primary components here are finding & joining the right game, completing the missions and staying up to date & engaged in the game via activity feeds, leaderboards, and announcements & bonuses from the game organizer. People can get very competitive when playing, so creating a seamless experience that doesn’t get in the way makes a big difference.\n\nBecause of the flexibility and ease-of-use of our product, we have successfully powered game types ranging from festival-wide competitions, with thousands of dollars in prizes, to K-12 classroom lessons on government types, featuring gummy bears to help demonstrate the differences between a dictatorship and a democracy! \n\nSeeing the different ways the product can be used, and the joy it creates in those who participate is an incredibly rewarding experience & is something we’d love to share with you as well! You need to know our product like the back of your hand.\n* Blending analytics data, feedback from various internal teams and direct conversations with customers to understand needs & how we can best prioritize and solve customer problems. \n* Taking complicated problems and distilling them down into bite sized pieces that can be rapidly tackled and iterated on. \n* Embracing your role as a user and business advocate and actively collaborating with & supporting other team members to make it happen. Hello there!\n\nDo you want to help a very ambitious startup move even faster by clearing obstacles for our development team?\n\nAnd yes, the role is fully remote.\n\nLikvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are 25 employees now, and we have just raised a seed round to realize our huge ambitions for the coming years. \n\nWe’re now looking for a project manager, who is responsible for running our sprints, test features, coordinate releases and be the go-to person for our developers. We will also pay for SCRUM courses, so you can implement that in Likvido!\n\n\n*!BEING ABLE TO CODE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT!*\n \n\n**So what are we doing?**\n\nWe’re helping small companies succeed.\n\nWe’ve built an “Invoice CRM” - imagine a system like Hubspot / Pipedrive / Salesforce, but for your invoices. You can assign workflows, add todos, write notes and much more. We’re currently only in Denmark, but the platform is international and ready to scale internationally in 2020.\n\nOn top of the “Invoice CRM”, we’re going to launch financial products. Imagine, when you create the invoice - we will automatically pay our client the majority of the invoice - RIGHT away! BEFORE their client even paid! How cool is that?\n\nThis is possible because we have full control of the payment flow, and we have a very large data-set our data scientists are using for transaction-level credit ratings. This makes it possible to only provide loans on low-risk invoices.\n\nThe goal is to help small companies succeed. We have ~1.500 customers right now, and we’re adding 1-200 customers every month. In a few years, we should have millions of invoices through the system every month.\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n At Likvido we’re working with bi-weekly development sprints. We already have a product-owner, who is responsible for preparing a backlog of tasks. \n\nYour job is to make sure as many items from the backlog get solved! If we break that down, that means you will be responsible for:\n\n* Be responsible for the sprint-plannings, daily standup format, and other recurring developers meetings\n* Be the go-to person for the developers with any questions. Your job is to find the answer (typically coordinating with the rest of the company).\n* Help test features from a business perspective, to verify tasks are ready for a release\n* Follow-up on all the tasks in the current sprint, update our issue system and push all features forward\n* Be the constant force for getting features released. Make sure no tasks get stuck, but always moved forward until they’re done\n\nToday, the role is basically filled by our CTO (who is also writing this job ad..). I need to get out of everything day-to-day, and you’re a success in this job if I don’t have to worry about any day-to-day in the IT department. Our product owner will deliver the prioritized roadmap, you will be responsible for getting as many tasks solved every sprint as possible. \n\nPractically, I would expect the role will be something like: \n\n* 25 % testing / releasing\n* 25 % meetings (developers or stakeholders)\n* 25 % coordinating and answering questions\n* 25 % planning sprints / process / improving whole flow\n\nBut, hey, being honest - I never hired for this role before. So I guess we will see.\n \n\n# Requirements\nWe’re very open to different backgrounds for this role. If you come from a non-tech background, coding background, testing background or even a product background - doesn’t matter. \n\nHowever, the following things are very important:\n\n* Fluent in English\n* You should LOVE structure and loves to make project plans (and follow up on them)\n* You’re social and outgoing. You need to coordinate with many people in a company while being remote\n* You’re above average IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) use many different systems & programs\n* We don’t care about time-zone, but you need to be online at least 10am - 3 pm Central European Time (CET) daily\n* Being able to spend at least 6-8 weeks per year in Copenhagen, Denmark\n\n\nIt’s a huge plus if you’ve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nIt’s also worth noting that we’re a startup with big ambitions. This also comes with big expectations. We don’t expect you to work crazy Silicon Valley hours, but you should also expect to work significantly more than 40 hours per work.\n\n \n\n#Salary\n$55,000\n\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

Hi future Likvido employee!\n\nAs the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of a very fast-growing startup: I need you.\n\nWe’re looking for a remote “development manager” / "product manager". This is basically “The Right-Hand of the CTO”, as I need help with everything from speccing new tasks, testing tasks, answer questions from developers and even conceptualize new features.\n\nYOU DON’T HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CODE. However, It’s expected you’re the rare unicorn that is both technically very strong but also very good at communications, user experience and understands the business side of things.\n\nWhat are we doing:\nSince we launched Likvido in April 2018, we’ve absolutely nailed it. Not only do we now have 1.000+ customers - among many of the hottest startups and scaleups in Denmark - we also managed to get very serious funding, have very good unit economics and built a really cool technical platform. However, we’re just getting started.\n\nSo what are we doing?\nWe are solving the biggest reason for companies going bankrupt in Europe. You see, 19 % of all invoices are paid late, and roughly half of all bankruptcies are caused by lack of cash.\n\nLikvido is defining a new category we’re calling a “customer payment system”. Today you integrate Likvido with your accounting system, and then we automate sending out invoices, send our reminders, start debt collection and post back to the accounting system. Looking ahead, we will add financial products, give the whole organization access to our system and much more. In brief, we help companies get paid - on time - and forecast their cash flow.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n# Responsibilities\n Your job responsibilities will be:\n\n- To maintain a high product quality, through both lots of testing of new features & continuously improve everything we have live\n- Ensure great performance by metrics such as: errors in logs, fast page-load, check request amounts\n- Release management and making sure new code goes live (without problems)\n- Help our CTO specify new tasks to our development team, and verify specification makes sense on all new tasks\n- Help our development team with questions on features\n- Be responsible for our internal IT support email\n \nTo make it concrete, during an average day, you could expect to do some of the following:\n\n- Testing a new feature made by a developer, and giving structured feedback (in Github)\n- Checking website speed and amount of requests (in Azure)\n- Testing a new release is ready to be rolled into production and then pulling the “release trigger!” (in Azure Devops)\n- Reply to support tickets from our internal support department (in Intercom), and realize we have a bug, that you specify a solution for our development team (in Github)\n- Help developers with questions about tasks (in Slack)\n- Get a few hours to come up with some examples of how a new type of page could look (concept development) \n\n# Requirements\nWe’re very open to your background, but the following is important to have in mind:\n\n- Fluent in English\n- Some kind of formal education in business, economy, communication, IT or marketing is required\n- You’re very detail oriented and structured\n- You’re IT-savvy. You should be able to: 1) download development programs & run applications from your computer 2) be open to learn SQL / databases if you don’t know it 3) use many different systems\n- You have a Windows computer or are OK with installing Bootcamp and running Windows when you work. Parallels is not good enough\n\nA big part of the job is providing feedback to our developers by testing and speccing. It’s also extremely important that you’re able to quickly understand what we do, so you can help us improve the product. It’s a huge plus if you’ve worked with SaaS (software-as-a-service) before, or has worked in accounting systems.\n\nIt’s also worth noting that we’re a startup with big ambitions. This also come with big expectations. We don’t expect you to work crazy Silicon Valley hours, but you should also expect to work significantly more than 40 hours per work.\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

### About us:\n\nSince 2005, over 300,000 websites have used Crazy Egg to understand how their audience experiences their website and their product. We are pioneers in data visualization, in conversion rate optimization, and in helping small and medium businesses get immense value quickly and accurately from incredibly large data sets. That's what we love to do. We are looking for a product and customer minded Full Stack Engineer to help build on that foundation and improve our product, and the tools, technology and platform we use to help our customers. You will be joining Crazy Egg as a Full Stack Engineer and help in scaling our systems and move us towards a service oriented architecture. Here's what that looks like at Crazy Egg, and here are the values you’d be excited to stand behind:\n\n### As a team we strive for:\n\n- Direct, undeniable, customer impact. We have incredible customers that we're grateful for and we believe the best teammates are the ones who, regardless of function or discipline, are eager and excited to find a way to connect their work directly to customers.\n- Trusted independence with interdependence. You are fully trusted as a full owner of the work you do; self-determined, responsible, accountable, and celebrated. With that freedom, you acknowledge, a broader social context. We work together, we partner, we collaborate, and we make sure the work we take on and hand off is done thoughtfully and with care.\n- Assume positive intent. All outcomes may not be what we desired, what we expected, or what we needed. But they happened because people take chances and are willing to make decisions. We assume people try their hardest and try their best, we assume their actions started with the most positive of intentions. Every conversation, assessment, piece of feedback, starts with that assumption, on both sides. This ensures our team is built on a foundation of trust.\n- Care and inclusion; sincerely. We work at Crazy Egg because we believe in the opportunity, we believe in the vision, we believe in our people, and we believe in our ability to build something wonderful. It is those beliefs that also mean we care about the market, we care about the vision, we care about each other, and we care about building something wonderful. When all of this falls into place, our customers are able to build better businesses and succeed.\n\n\n### As an engineer what we hope you strive for:\n\n- The ability to work independently and with other engineers to develop new user experience-focused web applications, or provide support for existing systems.\n- Have the ability to work on multiple parts of a web application, from internal backend APIs to dynamic frontend interfaces.\n- Collaborate with designers, front-end specialists, other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the end product using the best technologies.\n- Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.\n- Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.\n- Support of production applications may be required on some projects.\n- Mentoring and helping others grow and make an impact\n\n### Experience and Skills we’re looking for:\n\n- Prior experience in developing single page applications - We use Ember.js/React/Redux/GraphQL\n- Prior experience developing web applications using web frameworks - We use Ruby on Rails/Node/Elixir/Phoenix.\n- Excellent planning, communication and collaboration skills\n- Understanding of best practices for web development and software design\n\n### Nice to have, but not required experience:\n\n- Previous remote working experience (nice to have but not necessarily required)\n- Prior client services, consulting, or freelancing experience\n- Working in a startup environment\n- Previous role as a team leader\n- Working on web applications that process large volumes of data and/or receive high volumes of traffic\n- Using a variety of AWS tools\n- Using Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment\n\n\n### Perks and Benefits\n\n- We believe in building the best team possible, regardless of geographic location. Our team is fully distributed all over the world and we believe in working where you’re the most productive and happiest.\n- We have full trust in you and believe in finding a good balance. Work should be a paced marathon, not a sprint, and so. \n- We have an unlimited vacation policy.\n- We provide full benefits of Dental/Medical.\n- We believe in supporting your growth and opportunity. Crazy Egg was founded 14 years ago by accomplished founders.\n- If you’re looking to learn what it takes to one day break off on your own and start your own startup, we think this is a good opportunity for you.\n\n#### Direct applicants only. No recruiters please.\n\nIf you’re interested in joining us, please share a bit about yourself, your background, and why you’re interested in joining our team to [email protected]

Hi, I’m Brian, Director of Product at Customer.io,\n\nI’m looking for a Product Manager to join our team who has experience working on customer lifecycle analysis, behavioral messaging, or growth marketing. We need your perspective to help us craft our product with deep empathy for the challenges facing B2C product teams. \n\nOur product work is done by squads: small groups of engineers, designers, and a product manager like you, focused on solving a customer problem. You’ll lead one of these squads. Together, your squad will have autonomy to own key parts of our roadmap and build the things that will have the greatest impact on solving customer problems. Alongside this ongoing product development, you’ll help us study product usage patterns across our entire customer lifecycle.\n\nThe work you do here will raise the bar for the everyday communications we all receive. It drives us crazy when we get useless emails and notifications that feel like spam from companies we admire. Despite how poorly some companies communicate, we don’t think marketers are bad people. In fact, we believe they care about their customers, don’t want to waste their time, and simply don’t have the tools to do better. At Customer.io we’re on a mission to give our customers the superpower of sending and tracking great email, SMSes and push notifications. \n\nOur customers are marketers, growth hackers, and engineers who are always dreaming up fresh ideas for how to be genuine and personal in their messages to customers. We help businesses send relevant messages based on what people do or don’t do when using a web or mobile app. \n\n**What will you be doing?**\n\n- Dig into tons of feedback, and understand what customers really want when they say, "I want this feature!”\n- Driving solutions to production while keeping scope in check and validating progress with customers\n- Work closely with our marketing team to practice what we preach: ensure that we get the right data from our own app, and send industry-leading automated messaging experiences to our own customers\n- Partnering with marketing, sales, and support to implement anything needed (docs, blogs, presentations, etc) to ensure customers get every bit of value from features we ship\n- Defining success metrics for features, reporting results after shipping, and proposing future iterations based on results\n\n**You’ll be working with...**\n\n- Brian, Director of Product, to define a roadmap that balances customer problems, our strengths, and our market position. \n- Kristina, Sr Product Manager, your partner in ensuring that the work we’re doing across squads comes together in one cohesive whole. You’ll regularly collaborate and support each other in reaching your goals.\n- An engineering and design team who is passionate about the product. They’ll help you get the details right and make sure it’s going to scale flawlessly!\n- Partners in data, marketing, sales, and customer support. We’re a tight-knit company where you’ll get a stream of customer insight and have the opportunity to holistically shape the way the product is experienced.\n\n**What will you bring to the table?**\n\n**You’ve got an infectious energy** when sharing customer stories. You’ve seen what happens when a team gets aligned around the customer’s journey throughout a product and are on a mission to help every team you work with achieve that understanding.\n\n**Your north star** is that lightbulb moment when your customer’s underlying motivation becomes apparent. It’s the moment where your mission becomes clear and you’re leaping out of your seat to share that insight with your team and find the solution.\n\n**You’re hungry to learn,** and you love to ask “Why?” one more time. Whether it’s uncovering the true motivation of a customer or the root cause of a disagreement about priorities, you’re always curious and seeking to identify the piece that completes the puzzle.\n\n**You’re scrappy and self-directed** when it comes to problem-solving and working on multiple projects at once. You’re looking to work with a startup where you’ll be responsible for the impact you make and have a lot of freedom. Working with folks in different timezones will be standard issue for you around here, so being able to stay determined, even when the answers aren’t in front of you, is essential. \n\n**You are a proactive communicator.** You strive to be articulate and empathetic in your interactions and believe in “working out loud” to share work early and helpfully. You’re an excellent written communicator who values clarity and brevity while avoiding jargon.\n\n**Bonus!** Not a requirement, but shout about it if you have experience with... \n\n- Using Customer.io in a previous role\n- Experience with Looker, Mode, Segment, SQL or similar\n- Marketing Technology and/or SaaS Companies\n\n**Why should you work with Customer.io?**\n\nWork at our head office in Portland, OR or anywhere in the world you want. We want to enable you to do your best work, and this is how we aim to do that—\n\n**Competitive salary** - We’re offering $80,000-$100,000 USD depending on experience for this position in the company.\n\n**Equity** - You'll own a piece of the company. It's not a get-rich-quick deal, but if you stay around for a while, we're planning to be a long-lasting company and your piece of it may be a nice bonus. \n\n**Big Impact** - Our team is small, but growing quickly. The work you do will materially impact how successful we are as a company. \n\n**Great Tools** - Everyone in the company has a budget for a computer, a motorized standing desk, Steelcase Leap office chair, external monitor, and anything else you'd like to get your job done.\n\n**Health Benefits** - We pay 100% of your premiums for medical, dental and vision. \n\n**Paid Parental & Medical Leave** - including adoption\n\n**Retreats** - We get our whole company together once a year. We've had retreats in multiple places in the US, Iceland, Barcelona, and Romania. \n\n**Vacation** - Rest and recuperation is important. We offer unlimited paid time off with a 2-week minimum per year.\n\n\n**Diversity statement**\n\nAt Customer.io, we’re committed to building a diverse environment, and encourage minority applicants. So far, we have team members in France, Germany, Canada, and all over the US. Our CEO and CTO grew up in Singapore and Arkansas respectively, but met in New York City. Our company culture is always evolving; people from different backgrounds bring valued perspective and thoughtfulness to the work that we do and the culture we foster.\n\nCustomer.io provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. In addition to federal law requirements, Customer.io complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. Basically, we follow the law, but also like you for who you are!\n\n**Come Join Us!**\n\nApply below, and make sure you tell us why you’re interested in the position! We’ve added a few questions that will also help us understand how you think. \n\n- Provide a resume or LinkedIn profile\n- In 10 words or less, what is the job to be done for a calendar app?\n- What one company have you seen the best behavioral messaging from? What did they do?\n- Describe the role of a product manager to someone who knows nothing about it.\n- You're constructing your perfect sandwich. What is it? And is it cut in a triangle, horizontally, or not at all?\n

Hi, I’m Brian, Director of Product at Customer.io,\n \nI’d first like to introduce you to Fly, our current design system. We’ve reached a point where Fly is struggling to scale and hiring you is the piece of the puzzle we need to invest in leveling it up. I’m looking for someone to join our product team and be the vanguard of this effort!\n\nOur product work is done by squads: small groups of product managers, engineers, and designers like you, focused on solving a customer problem. In addition to wrangling our design system, you'll also be an integral part of a squad, helping to define and design the user experience.\n\nThe work you do here will raise the bar for the everyday communications we all receive. It drives us crazy when we get useless emails and notifications that feel like spam from companies we admire. Despite how poorly some companies communicate, we don’t think marketers are bad people. In fact, we believe they care about their customers, don’t want to waste their time, and simply don’t have the tools to do better. We help businesses send relevant messages based on what people do or don’t do when using a web or mobile app. \n\nSound like the next step in your career? Read on and apply!\n\nP.S. Identify more as a UX Designer? UX Engineer? Don’t worry about it - let us know if you think this is the place for you.\n\n**What will you be doing?**\n\n- Taking over Fly, the component library we use to construct our app in close partnership with our front-end engineers and your fellow designers. Understand what works, what doesn’t, and take ownership of improving it.\n- Standardize and document these modular components, so the entire team knows how, where, and why to use them\n- Own UI and UX design for product features while partnering with engineering throughout the creation process\n- Use both data and customer research to validating your designs and refine concepts for new features\n- Separate trend from truth when it comes to design systems -- meaningfully leverage best practices, but don't be afraid to ignore the buzzwords and forge a path (and a Medium post) yourself!\n\n**You’ll be working with...**\n\n- Ivana, Sr UI/UX designer, to take features from concept to Customer.io! Together, you’ll collaborate on distilling user feedback into user goals, wireframes, visual designs, prototypes -- whatever the team needs to make our customers’ lives easier.\n- Kieran, Sr Product Designer, who will be your visual design partner as you corral our design system and take it to the next level.\n- Brian, our Director of Product, to figure out what we need to build next for our customers. With Brian you’ll focus a lot on customer problems and outcomes in order to cultivate an iterative design-driven team culture. Brian joined last year from Adobe, where he spent years building products for designers.\n- A team of front-end engineers with a passion for design and usability. They’ll be close partners: you’ll laugh together, you’ll cry together, you’ll do the best work of your lives together.\n\n**What will you bring to the table?**\n\n**You’re a natural systems thinker** and that’s exactly what makes you a great designer. Grids, modules, and typographic scale are your paintbrush. You see nonstandard, one-off interfaces as a rough design critique. You enjoy applying your systems in service of customer needs just as much as you enjoying crafting those systems.\n\n**Your north star** is making a design system and user experience harmonize perfectly. You realize it’s not just about a pattern library, it’s about constraining the ways the patterns can be assembled so they accelerate the both process of designing a product and empowering its user.\n\n**You’re hungry to learn**, and you love to understand how things work under the hood. You thrive in technical conversations with engineers where you need to balance constraints with design goals.\n\n**You’re scrappy and self-directed** when it comes to problem-solving and working on multiple projects at once. You’re looking to work with a startup where you’ll be responsible for the impact you make and have a lot of freedom. Working with folks in different time zones will be standard issue for you around here, so being able to stay determined, even when the answers aren’t in front of you, is essential. \n\n**You are a proactive communicator**. You strive to be articulate and empathetic in your interactions and believe in “working out loud” to share work early and helpfully. This might mean writing out your questions for the team, jumping on a quick call to clarify feature requirements, or building wireframes after documenting your assumptions.\n\n**Bonus!** Not a requirement, but shout about it if you have experience with... \n- Writing the HTML, CSS, and JS for the design system you create\n- Marketing Technology and/or SaaS Companies\n\n**Why should you work with Customer.io?**\n\nWork at our head office in Portland, OR or anywhere in the world you want. We want to enable you to do your best work, and this is how we aim to do that—\n\n**Competitive salary** - We’re offering $80,000-$100,000 USD for this position, with flexibility for location and experience.\n\n**Equity** - You'll own a piece of the company. Play a major role in the visual design and experience of Baremetrics. We're looking for a designer who's comfortable with both UI and marketing design who's aware of and able to use design to help users comprehend complex business metrics.
