\nWho We Are\n\n\nNeya is a leader in developing off-road autonomy for both commercial and defense customers, and we are looking for a strong software engineer with experience in robotics. If you join our team, you will develop of a diverse set of autonomy capabilities on our latest vehicle development programs: Autonomous vehicle path planning through obstructed rural and urban terrain, soldier-aware autonomy behaviors such as formation keeping, and self-learning. You will also work with a strong team of scientists and engineers located in Pittsburgh, Massachusetts, and Colorado that work across the entire robotics stack.\n\n\nInterested in joining our team?  Take a look below to see exactly what we are looking for.  If you feel that you meet most but not all of the requirements below, please reach out to us, you might be a good fit.\n\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\n\n\n* Help to design and optimize implementation of cutting edge path planning systems for off-road vehicles\n\n* Enhance unified back end architecture for solving multi-robot tasking and path planning\n\n* Simulate scenarios using tools such as Gazebo, Stage, ANVEL\n\n* Work with other team members (inside and outside of Neya) to provide ROS-compatible datasets for communication within the target architecture\n\n* Assist in the development and implementation of unit testing of code using simulation tools and actual hardware\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\n\n\n* BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent in industry experience\n\n* Extensive experience with sensor data processing, environment modeling, and simulation tools\n\n* Comfortable writing production-quality code in Linux/C++11 or C++14\n\n* Passionate about Robotics and Intelligent Systems\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat Makes Neya Unique\n\n\n\n* Solve immediate and pressing real-world problems that advance state-of-the-art\n\n* Work with some of the smartest people in unmanned systems\n\n* Great company culture\n\n* Competitive salary and benefits including 401k, and company paid medical, dental, life insurance\n\n* Flexible hours and working conditions\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nThis position requires use of information that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Non-U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export-restricted information. If you join our team, you will have an opportunity work to solve a diverse set of challenges ranging from autonomous jet-ski perception, automatic target recognition, 3D scene reconstruction, and autonomous off-road vehicles.
