\nI'm hiring an experienced ES6 / TypeScript / Angular 2 developer who will have a big impact in my tiny company. My company embraces 100% remote work and flexible hours. This is a full-time position.\n\nI'd like to hire you if you:\n\n\n* Love JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript\n\n* Have 3+ months experience with Angular 2\n\n* Are self-motivated and can solve problems independently\n\n* Have excellent written and verbal English skills\n\n* Live in South America\n\n* Want to work from home in a long-term, full-time position\n\n* And we get along; to see the team you'll be joining, visit our about us page\n\n\n\n\nMy company is called Custody X Change. I've been working on this business since 2004. We sell software that creates child custody schedules and parenting plans. This software has helped thousands of people in their child custody situations, by reducing their conflict and saving them money in legal fees.\n\nWe care deeply about creating amazing customer experiences. This means that we solicit feedback from users and run moderated usability studies. Then we go back and make changes to our interface and our code to make it easier to use. It's exciting when you make a change and see it positively impact our customers.\n\nIn February of this year we launched a beta of our new product, a web/mobile Angular 2 application that will make it easy for families to communicate about custody scheduling, children's activities, and shared expenses.\n\nWe need your help writing Angular 2 code, building components, and tackling a lot of challenges. As this is a small, distributed team, it's important that you can work independently and find solutions to the challenges you'll face.\n\nOur stack is built with Angular 2 on the frontend, Node.js on the backend and Amazon DynamoDB for the database. We're running everything on Amazon Web Services. We're writing all of the code in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.\n\nIf you want to build a genuinely helpful product that lots of people will use, build it on Angular 2 and other new technologies, and join a small, distributed team, then we should talk.\n\nTo apply, email me at [email protected], and:\n\n\n* Include your resume in PDF format\n\n* Somehow use the word 'lime' in the subject of your email\n\n* Answer the following 4 questions in your email, in this order:\n\n\n\n\n* Where do you live?\n\n* Tell me about a project you've worked on: what was your role, team size, project length, technologies used, testing methodology, etc.?\n\n* Have much have you used angular 2, and what do you think about it?\n\n* What salary would you be happy making, for this long-term, full-time, remote position?\n\n\n\nNote: agencies need not apply; I'm looking for an employee to join our team.\n\nThanks,\n -Ben\n\nP.S. I want you to be happy working for me. I'll pay you a good salary and you can work normal hours. I care about results, not bureaucracy

I’ve been working on the business since 2004. We sell software that creates child custody schedules and parenting plans. We have an upcoming web-version that will make it easy for families to communicate about custody scheduling, children’s activities, and shared expenses. This will reduce a lot of conflict. And it will save people a ton of money in legal fees.\nWe’ve done all of our SEO in-house, and its gone pretty well. We have decent traffic. However, we've spent more effort in improving our content than in generating links.\nYou'll be a team of one. You'll get to come up with ideas and you’ll get to implement them. Your success will be judged on the links you acquire. The links we’re looking for are from highly-related websites or from authoritative websites. The best links send referrals that convert.\nHow to apply:\n* Write a PDF cover letter; convince me that you want this particular job.\n* Show me that you're great; give me examples of ways you've successfully built links.\n* Somehow use the word β€œtomato” in your cover letter and in the subject of your email.\n* Email that, and your PDF resume, to me, at [CXC Jobs at Gmail dot com].\nThanks,\n-Ben\nP.S. I want you to be happy working for me. I’ll pay you a good salary and you can work normal hours. I care about results, not bureaucracy.\n\nExtra tags: SEO, marketing, growth

\nI’m hiring an experienced angular developer who will have a big impact in my tiny company. I’d like to hire you if you:\n\n\n* Love JavaScript (ES6+) and the MEAN stack\n\n* Have completed multiple angular projects and are interested in angular 2.0\n\n* Have a computer science degree\n\n* Want to work from home\n\n* And we get along\n\n\n\n\nMy company is called Custody X Change. I sell software that creates child custody schedules and parenting plans. I’ve been working on the business since 2004. The software is currently Windows-only desktop software; this web-version expands on the features considerably.\n\nThis new product will make it easy for families to communicate about custody scheduling, children’s activities, and shared expenses. It will reduce a lot of conflict. And it will save people a ton of money in legal fees.\n\nI had a software consultancy firm work on it for a year and a half. We got the designs completed, with a really great user interface. We got most of the design translated into SCSS. We got a little bit of angular front-end / back-end code written. (The code is light on the node side -- we’re putting the computation and logic on the front-end.)\n\nI’m passionate about making a product that’s intuitive. Once we get to a beta release, we’ll watch real people use the software so we know how to improve it. My goal is to have a product that doesn’t frustrate people, but that helps people with their child custody situations.\n\nAfter we’ve made an awesome product that we know people love, we’ll want to port the app to angular 2.0 and build hybrid apps. We want the current angular 1.x development to keep 2.0 in mind so we can minimize rework.\n\nIf you’re interested, email me your resume and I’ll get back to you right away; I’m Ben Coltrin at Gmail dot com\n\nThanks.\n -Ben\n\nP.S. I want you to be happy working for me. I’ll pay you a decent salary and you can work normal hours. I care about results, not bureaucracy.
