Magazine’s Best Workplaces.\n\nWho you are\n\nAs a JavaScript Engineer, you are an open source enthusiast and very proficient with server side technologies, especially NodeJS.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Design, develop, and maintain solutions for Mindgrub’s internal and external clients\n\n* Participate in all steps of the Agile process including Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Daily Scrum\n\n* Thoroughly test through both automated and manual means all code to prove its effectiveness\n\n* Collaborate and help team members by sharing knowledge and combining brainpower to solve problems\n\n* Look for ways to improve processes and functionality to further deliver increased value to Mindgrub’s clients\n\n\n\n\n Requirements:\n\n\n* Experience leveraging NodeJS to produce performant, scalable, and reliable API's or GraphQL\n\n* Professional experience with Git (or similar source control management)\n\n* Nice to haves: Typescript, Microsoft Azure experience\n\n\n\n\n\nEducation & Experience\n\n\n* Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred, not required with relevant experience\n\n* 4+ years of experience in a prior software engineering role including interactions with non-technical stakeholders\n\n* Active GitHub profile preferred\n\n* React/Ember/Angular experience preferred, but not necessary\n\n* Microsoft Azure certification preferred\n\n\n\n\n\nBenefits + Comments:\n\n\n* The position will allow you to work remotely, on-site in our Baltimore office, or in client offices (when/if they re-open) and will require you to manage multiple tasks while delivering projects on-time and on-budget.
