We are building an address book for the 21st century. Digital address books are broken. Just like old paper versions, in 2017 everyone still manages their own contact list. When friends change their numbers, you have to update them on your phone. When you change your phone number you have to manually tell everyone. If you are travelling and have a temporary SIM card you may be uncontactable. If you're like us, you have lots of numbers in your address book and can't remember exactly who they belong to. You have no idea who has your contact information.

About Us

We are a stealth mode startup working on solving these problems. Our aim is to launch our first product in the summer of 2017. We are funded by a successful serial entrepreneur. We are working remotely with team members based in Cambridge, UK and Berlin, Germany.

The Role

You will join our team as our first mobile developer. You will be working collaboratively with the rest of our team to build and launch the first version of our product. We want you to be involved throughout the product design process - not just implementing work for finished designs!

This is a remote role, and you will need to be available during European working hours. There may be some occasional travel to London. The mission of the Mobile Software Engineer is to make it easier for patients to capture data on iOS. • Strong knowledge of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the entire mobile store life cycle including store policies, publishing, deployments, and provisioning.
  
• You must have released an app to one or both of the app stores (Apple, Google)
  
• You must have experience creating apps for both iOS and Android platforms
  
• You must have experience building graphically intensive UIs, managing multiple view hierarchies, and optimizing UI transitions and performance on mobile devices.
  
• You must have experience organizing and maintaining a common core shared amongst various platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.)
  
• You must have experience working with SQLite or comparable local storage frameworks
  
• You must have experience developing apps for both mobile and tablet using the Xamarin platform.
  
• You must have experience with SVN and/or Git.
  
• You must have experience working in Adobe Photoshop including the ability to turn PSD’s into usable application assets (images, fonts, etc.)
  
• Xamarin Test Cloud experience is a plus
  
• Experience with prototyping tools is a plus
  
• Experience with Objective C, Swift and/or Java to develop mobile apps is a plus
  
• Ability to collaborate with designers and content creators to develop robust and user-friendly interfaces
  
• Must be able to clearly communicate technical challenges to business units
  
• Must have exceptional attention-to-detail
  
• Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
