We are looking for a part time remote engineer to help us create our own internal tools for analyzing our users' behaviors based on data we are already collecting. \n\nYou would ideally be open for a few weeks of contracting to get a feel for where things are headed, with a strong openness to an ongoing part-time or full-time position to join the team if we have been able to convince you it is where you want to be. With over a million active users, this job will give you an opportunity to work on and directly influence a project with a growing global audience.\n\nWe are a remote team spread across the U.S. and UK so you would enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere you would like (U.S. or UK citizens/permanent residents only for longer term work). \nAbout us:\nOur mission is to use software and analytics to bring transparency to the opaque world of jewelry, a $80b and growing market.\nWe acquired the domain name (Ice.com) a year ago (it is unrelated to the previous company).  We also don't take any inventory because we're a marketplace - which means our capital goes towards building IP and acquiring/retaining users. \nA few reasons why you should be interested in this opportunity:\n* The jewelry industry is a fragmented, $80B market (in the US alone), growing at 5%+ annually, that software has yet to disrupt. \n* You will be joining an awesome team led by Brandon Proctor (founding CMO of one of the largest e-commerce retailers, Build.com) and Justin Yoshimura (3x exits). \n* We are extremely data driven and technology/software is in our DNA.
