Your expertise will be crucial in crafting seamless customer journeys and propelling our vision forward in the financial technology landscape.\n\nThis position can either be remote-based in the US or hybrid in our Palo Alto HQ. The salary range for this role is USD 183,700 - 358,400. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\n\n\nMake a meaningful impact in the lives of our community members.\n\n Drive the design & implementation of new features - break down complex problems into their bare essentials, translate this complexity into elegant design and create high quality, clean code. \n\nCollaborate and mentor other senior engineers while providing thoughtful guidance using code, design and architecture reviews.\n\nContribute to defining technical direction, planning the roadmap, escalating issues, and synthesizing feedback to ensure team success.\n\nEstimate and manage team project timelines and risks.\n\nCare passionately about producing high quality, efficient  designs and code.\n\nParticipate in hiring and onboarding for new team members.\n\nLead cross-team engineering initiatives.\n\nConstantly be learning about new technologies and industry standards in data engineering.  \n\n\n\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n\n\nBachelor's, Masterโ€™s or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.\n\n7+ years of development experience in backend or full stack software development. \n\n* Extensive experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
