\nAbout Customer Success\n\nThe Customer Success team focuses on supporting our current customers as their businesses grow and their needs change. We do this through proactive outreach to our customers during key moments in their lifecycle to drive more adoption and longer lifetimes with Gusto.\n\nWe are looking for a CSM to join our Customer Success team at Gusto. You will work with our existing customers to drive customer education and feature adoption, integrations with our partners, maintain customer satisfaction, and increase retention. You will rapidly test hypotheses that will help develop and create processes for our growing team. Together we help solve our customersโ€™ pain points by educating our current customers about the full value Gusto brings to small businesses. Our customersโ€™ success is Gustoโ€™s success.  \n\nHereโ€™s what youโ€™ll do day-to-day:\n\n\n* Proactive outreach to current customers through outbound calls and email communication in the moments that matter. This might be a touchpoint in a customerโ€™s first 90 days with Gusto, or a call to educate them on features they might not know about.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Use your deep Gusto product knowledge and Sandler skills to help our current customers adopt the features they need to support their business needs\n\n* Gather and share insights from your calls: What are some themes weโ€™re hearing from our customers? What can we learn? What can we do better?\n\n* Represent the voice of the customer! You will fuel the feedback engine to inform our sales processes, our product roadmap, and help shape Gusto to be the product of our customersโ€™ dreams.\n\n* Use your communication and partnership skills to educate cross functional stakeholders and compel action\n\n\n\n\nHereโ€™s what we're looking for:\n\n\n* 2-4 years experience in high-volume customer facing roles (Customer Care, Customer Success, Account Manager, Sales Development Representative), preferably in the tech industry.\n\n* Outbound calling experience highly preferred \n\n* Passionate about helping small business owners achieve more success through empathetic and consultative conversations.\n\n* Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to experiment as we continue to build this team\n\n* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics like payroll and R&D tax credits in an easy-to-understand way.\n\n* Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to translate individual conversations into themes and recommendations \n\n* Energized by learning new skills to do the best work of your life\n\n* Experience with Salesforce preferred \n\n\n\n\nAt Gusto, we strive to provide rewards that empower employees to achieve their financial and personal goals. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's reach and impact and will represent the company in interactions with national educational leaders, policymakers, and other external stakeholders.\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, including consultants, school districts, state education agencies, and other educational organizations.\n* Develop and implement strategies to establish Age of Learning as a trusted partner in the education community.\n* Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute successful partnerships and outreach initiatives.\n* Work with government officials and policymakers to promote Age of Learning's products and services and influence policies that impact education.\n* Develop and execute a national strategy utilizing consultants and associations that supports Age of Learning's business objectives.\n* Represent Age of Learning in public forums and events, including speaking engagements, conferences, and meetings with key stakeholders.\n* Build a team of professionals who can support Age of Learning's educational partnerships and government relations efforts.\n* Proactively manage communications with relevant Age of Learning executive stakeholders.\n* Communicate at a high level with all internal and external stakeholders. \n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n* 8+ yearsโ€™ experience in educational leadership within an EdTech company or equivalent experience.\n* Mission-driven, values-based marketing leader with experience in building processes and systems from the ground up\n* Strong understanding of the education market, marketing to education customers and working with B2B sales teams focused on PK-12.\n* Ability to think strategically while also working with stakeholders to produce the highest quality marketing campaigns with strategic use partnerships under tight timelines\n* Strong presentation skills including content creation and delivery\n* Strategic thinker with an inherent ability to simplify complex things and to lead through influence. \n* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish, including project discovery and planning, building, executing, and managing marketing campaigns\n* Demonstrated ability to consistently meet service level agreements for all projects.\n* Excellent communicator with effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various levels of management, both internal and external. \n* Exceptional customer service orientation and behaviors. \n* Strong attention to detail and extremely high standards of quality.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n* Knowledge of Hubspot and Salesforce preferred\n* Fluent in Microsoft Suite and Adobe\n* Working knowledge of a second language preferred\n\n\n\n\n\nThe estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $180,000 USD to $220,000 USD.
