Jigsaw Trading has a niche futures/equity trading platform which is constantly evolving with the markets. We are now looking to grow our team with experienced C# developers that already understand the trading industry, preferably in futures or equities markets. You need to understand the trading industry to do this job.\n\nWe are located in Asia, so preference will be given to people in our part of the world as it's easier for time zones. Our team is spread across 6 countries, so we are fine with managing remote developers. \n\nNote that this job is for developers. Our experience with agencies/development companies has been mostly negative. We want to pay developers a decent wage, we do not want to pay an agency to then have a developer working for a very low wage. We want happy developers, not developers getting underpaid by agencies. So agencies/companies - please do not apply, we won't reply. Also - don't seek us out on Skype - we'll just block you there. \n\nSo - for you individual developers - we feel that the right candidate will have worked on or been a user of a Trading Platform such as TD Ameritrade, NinjaTrader, Tradestation, MT4, MT5, Jigsaw daytradr etc.\n\nIdeally, they will also have an understanding of the following:\n- US Futures Market Symbols\n- Level 1 Data Feed\n- Level 2 Data Feed\n- Bar Data/Historical Data Feed\n- Orders, Positions, Fills\n- OCO, OSO Order Types\n\nThis is more important to us than technical skills. \n\nFor technical skills, the following are required:\n- C#/.NET in a desktop programming environment\n- Winforms\n- Some 3rd party library such as DevExpress\n- MySQL Database\n- Strong OO skills\n- understanding of Multithreading, encapsulation, delegates in C# - both in terms of development AND troubleshooting\n\nWe are looking for a new team member to join us on a permanent basis, initially starting off fixing bugs and then moving onto new development.\n\nOur app is 100% multi-threaded and heavily uses OO concepts such as encapsulation. If you have previously been developing web back-ends in C# and don't have an extensive background with multi-threading, this is not the job for you.\n\nYou'll need to demonstrate the ability to work on an existing application, which means learning the existing codebase quickly.\n\n# Responsibilities\n Design and development of customizations to our trading platform.\n\n#Location\n🌏 Worldwide

\nWe looking for a developer who feel comfortable working full-stack, but we also want candidates who can excel in particular aspects of the work - an interest in game or UX design would be a real plus. Most importantly, we need you to be a top-class coder.\n\nWordwall.net makes it easy for teachers to create interactive games and printed worksheets for their students. It automates the process of resource design, so teachers can simply enter the content that is appropriate for their class – a list of keywords, definitions, questions or images. Wordwall produces the content in over 60 different templates; for example, gameshow quizzes, crosswords, labelled diagrams and arcade games. It seeks to disrupt the publisher-driven model of paid-for “professionally” made educational content, by putting high-quality content creation in the hands of teachers and making that teacher-made content, freely accessible through our online community.\n\nWe are a small team with big ambitions, who work remotely across the world. Our 15 million monthly users are rapidly proliferating. We’ve got a product that works and we’re building for the long-term. We want people who want to stick around, grow with us and help make games-based learning accessible to all.\n\nTechnologies we use: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Canvas API, WebAudio API, C#, ASP.NET MVC, MS-SQL, Azure, Selenium, TeamCity CD\n\nWe are an equal opportunities employer. We support flexible working arrangements - full or part time.\n\nApplication by CV. Tell us which aspect of the site interests you and where you think you could contribute the most.\n\nReal applicants only - please do not contact us if you represent an agency.

This extends to an ongoing commitment to learning, with old and new technologies willingly learned as necessary to perform well in the role and new knowledge keenly shared with your colleagues.\n\nTechnical Competencies\n\n\n* 2 years+ working with .NET (C#) in a web application context (including .NET Core)\n\n* 2 years+ working with SQL (MSSQL or MySQL/MariaDB preferred)\n\n* 2 years+ working with common front-end technologies\n\n\n\n\nCore Competencies\n\n\n* Collaboration – Leverage our collective genius, be a team.\n\n* Transparency – Be real. \nWe need developers who feel comfortable working full-stack, but we also want candidates who can excel in particular aspects of the work. There's a whole range of tasks that need doing from UX and game design work to database optimisation, integration with third party APIs and deployment. We have a strong focus on automated testing so experience in designing tests is a real plus. \n\nWordwall.net makes it easy for teachers to create interactive games and printed worksheets for their students.

\nWe're looking for developers with a wide range of experience (anything from 2 years to 20 years or more). Previous experience in C# is essential, and skills in any of the following would be a bonus but are not required. If you don't know them already, you'll learn all of the below on the job.\n\n\n* Azure (Specifically App Services, Table Storage, Service Bus, Queues among others)\n\n* Git\n\n* Selenium Testing\n\n* Accounting\n\n\n\n\nIf you're called for interview (video call, because that's how we work), you'll get the opportunity to interview us too, and talk to members of our team to find out whether you'd enjoy working with us.\n\nWe're doing high-value work and we want you to be as productive as possible. So as a member of our team you'll get access to learning materials to keep you sharp, and you'll be equipped with the necessary equipment and software to enable you to do what you need to do. \n\nWe've got a combination of new and existing projects that you'll be working on, and welcome the opportunity for candidates to bring in fresh thinking to benefit the whole team.\n\nWe don't have any offices; remote-working is baked-in to how we do what we do. It helps us achieve maximum productivity, with minimum distractions and diversions. And with no daily commute, it keeps our carbon footprint low too. What we ask for in return is that you're serious about doing professional work from the place of your choice, including having a fast and reliable internet connection (fibre or cable), and a dedicated space free from distractions in which to do your work. If other people share the building where you work, you need a door between your workspace and the rest of the building.\nFor an exceptional candidate we would consider offering a term-time only contract or other flexible arrangements.\n\nIf you're serious about applying to work with us, you'll need to do more than just send us a CV\n\nWe will carefully consider every application we get, if you follow these application instructions carefully.\n\nIn the introduction section with your StackOverflow application, please include the following:\n\nMandatory, under a heading, a project I have worked on, please tell us about a project that you've worked on recently.  Tell us when you did it, what you tried, what you achieved, what you liked about it (and maybe what you didn't like about it), and what you learned. Maximum of 500 words. Don't worry if it is half that amount, or even less — we like concise.\n\nOptionally, if you want to and in addition to the above, you can tell us a bit about your experience of remote working.  Or if you haven't got experience of remote working, then tell us a bit about what you know about remote working.  Things like three or more good things about remote working, and three or more bad things about remote working and how you manage those. No minimum or maximum word limit, but don't go crazy.\n\nWe want to hear from you \n\nEvery application that follows the above instructions will be carefully considered by us and we will respond to you.\n\nPlease Note\n\nCandidates are required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK

\nWe are looking for an engineer with a “find a way or make a way” attitude that is excited to join a small but growing team that has more projects than developers.  This opportunity is for someone excited for autonomy, ownership, and breadth of responsibility.\n\nWe’re a hybrid stack\n\n\n* Our “NextGen” technology is written in .Net Core, NodeJS and React and lives on GKE/Google Cloud Platform.  Our “Legacy” platform is AngularJS (aka Angular 1) and ASP.NET.\n\n* We’re looking for senior talent to contribute to our NextGen but who is also capable, when required, to roll up their sleeves and dive into legacy.\n\n\n\n\nBuild something challenging.\n\nThis isn't just another CRUD application. Your challenge will be to deliver a highly-available service with complex business logic being used by hundreds of businesses 24/7 to keep their operations running.  Our entity model is vast and a major part of our domain is synchronizing data with third party traceability systems. Explore the limits of your resourcefulness by designing human and automated systems that deliver consistent performance, reliability and scale whilst working with less-than-ideal third-party requirements and systems.\n\nSee if you fit our requirements.\n\nFor this role, we are looking for someone with the following characteristics:\n\n\n* 5-10 years experience working in back-end applications\n\n* 2+ years experience working with front-end applications\n\n* Deep familiarity with ES6/NodeJS & ReactJS\n\n* Familiarity with ASP.NET and .NET Core\n\n* Bonus for familiarity with AngularJS\n\n* Ability to acutely focus on company objectives and mission at hand.\n\n* Proven dedication to creating maintainable, functional, and reliable systems.\n\n* Ability to pass a background check; have appropriate work authorization\n\n\n\n\nYour Mission & Responsibilities:\n\n\n* Architect and plan new features, ranging from discussing wireframes to creating the data model to architecting deployment processes.\n\n* Build new features in our “next generation” web stack (C#, .NET core, React, SQL Server, Azure & Google Cloud Platform) as well as contribute to sunsetting our legacy app (Angular, ASP.net)\n\n* Contribute to our engineering culture by designing and developing with intention as well as our focus on continuous improvement.\n\n* Advise, mentor and lead other full time engineers and contractors on projects, small to large, from start to finish.\n\n\n

\nSyncro is a small team crafting applications helping small business be more successful.\n\nOur software has a primary component that is a "remote machine management" tool. For us, this means a user can install our management tool and in bulk do things like keep software up to date, enforce patch policies, perform remote desktop support, etc.\n\nWe are open to taking risks with technology, we invented a new remote desktop tool that has a plan html5/javascript remote desktop client that runs in all browsers!\n\nWe're building a company that has fun inventing. We go fast, and our customers love us. Thousands of repair shops and IT Professionals all over the world rely on our platform for their entire business operations. In fact this role can frequently start a feature and ship it to production the same day!\n\nWe are different - we really do care, the founders are writing this ad and looking at the resumes - not a recruiter or HR department.\n\nWe are using azure and teamcity, lots of dotnet. The client uses typescript, webRTC, and websockets.\n\nWe need help building this Windows "management agent." This is a small team (a couple people) in part of our tight knit development org. You'll know everyone by name, chat a lot in Slack, and have the freedom to pick the technology we use.\n\nIf this sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of, we want to hear from you.\n\nDo you play around with new stuff for fun?\nHave any cool side projects to test out a new technology?\nDo you hear about a problem and just obsessed building a web app to solve it?\nIf this sounds like your kind of play - we might be a great fit. :)\n\nHIGHLIGHTS:\n\n-Salaried position designed to grow with the company (seriously, try us).\n-We want this to be your dream job - but we need your help (tell us how).\n-We will advance your career like nobody else -- stay with us for the long haul and we'll keep you challenged, learning, passionate, and growing.\n-Results-oriented: Keep having fun and shipping code and you can design your day.\n-We are currently a dispersed team working from home and a few regional offices (Seattle, Bellevue, Bay Area, Orange County). (WeWork - super cool space https://www.wework.com/locations/seattle/south-lake-union)\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:\n\n-Lots of building and inventing.\n-Helping discover and flesh out new product ideas. (Roadmap has like 100 new features we're anxious to get to!)\n-Keeping us up to date with what you are learning in your spare time.\n-Bringing in new technology you discover that might solve a problem.\n-Coming up with improvements to many areas that are still sort of minimum viable state.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:\n\n-A few years of building applications, designing interfaces, etc.\n-Intermediate/Expert in Windows (CSharp/Windows APIs) and .NET\n-Experience in TeamCity\n-Lots of experience with the Windows OS - things like Services, system tray, IPC, Networking, long run processes, WCF, WPF, WinForms, etc.\n-No specific education necessary. (really)\n-You're always learning and teach yourself. (Watch conference talks? Go to dev meetups?)\n-...So you must be a self-driven, self-learner (autodidacts ftw).\n-Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and electronic.\n-You care -- which means sometimes putting yourself out there for a customer experiencing pain.\n-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.\n-You're kind and wily (in a good way).\n\nHOW TO GET HIRED BY US:\n\nWrite us about a recent time or two that you caused a production outage, what the root cause was, and what you learned from it.\n\nFor example; Troy our Founder shipped a typo in a class name a bit ago and those are annoying because they might be easily missed in Development environment but then production blows up. This led to a more robust CI+Staging step than we had prior. (web side)\n\nJust demonstrate that you are an individual, you have a personality, you enjoy life, and you enjoy good work. And please include a resume. :)\n\nSyncroMSP is an equal opportunity employer.\n\nPay: DOE. Let's Talk.

Together with Head of tech you are up to date and decide which techniques we will use ahead.\n\nExperience\n\nOur solutions are mainly based on .NET or .NET Core and MVC, or .NET Web APIs with a React frontend. We work with a variety of CMS platforms, such as Episerver, Umbraco and Contentful, and e-commerce platforms such as Litium and Episerver Commerce. We mainly use React Native for mobile applications. So basically, it’s desirable if you have experience with in .NET framework and some of the CMS mentioned above.\n\nWho are you?\n\n\n* You think long-term and know that fast fixes do not pay off in the long run.\n\n* You have built first-class web services before.\n\n* You love to write amazing code that's easy to maintain.\n\n* You keep ahead of new technology and want to constantly evolve.\n\n* You like to work in teams and see the value of sharing knowledge and lifting others.\n\n* If English is you primary language it's preferable that you understand Swedish.\n\n\n\n\nWhat do you get as an employee? \n\nWe invest heavily in our colleagues to feel appreciated and develop in Cloud Nine. Our employees are largely involved in and influence how we work. This applies both in everyday life but also to major issues like where Cloud Nine should be in 5 years. If you are able to participate and influence your workplace you also enjoy a lot better.\n\n\n

\nAssurance Systems, Inc. has been in business since 1986 writing software used by insurance agencies and insurance companies.  We are a development team who works on SaaS apps for the insurance industry and need another experienced person to help us take on new projects while maintaining our existing code base.  Our main product is on the .NET stack written mostly in C#/XAML with data stored in MongoDB and run entirely in AWS. Large portions of that product is currently being re-written and is transitioning to a combination of C#/TypeScript/HTML running on a hybrid stack with some parts on .NET and others on Node.js. Git is our source control of choice and typically we work in the latest version of Visual Studio. We believe in using the best tools for the job and are not afraid to change things up if a particular project requires it.\n\nWe are a small development team and you'll get to have a direct impact on our development.  Designing and implementing web applications for the evolving insurance market.  Our team is a mix of local and remote developers and we are happy with either option.  Typical work day hours are flexible with some of us starting early and others later. Generally developers are expected to be available during normal business hours Eastern time. We use an agile based development process that is a mix of Scrum and Kanban.

\nYOU'RE THE BEST\n\nYou're a talented full stack .NET developer and you consistently deliver. You're looking for an exceptional team atmosphere and an environment that's professional but relaxed, goal-driven but experimental and operates like a well-run startup.\n\nYou may even want to work remotely from another city or state - that's totally fine with us. Yep, we're living the dream and we earn our privileges. If that sounds like you, read on…\n\nONE OF US…\n\nWe're an agile, entrepreneurial-led team of kick-arse developers that have pushed the envelope for the last year, architecting experiences for the building and construction industry.\n\nWe operate within a larger corporate environment and enjoy our status as the 'Pirates' of the organisation, leading the charge with modern development techniques and lean-startup thinking.\n\nWe use GIT, Team City, Octopus deploy, Jira, AWS and Slack, to mention just a few of the many apps we're constantly evaluating, play with and frequently adopt. You would be joining us as we take the next evolutionary step in our software development as we develop MVPs, test our hypotheses and develop new services that have a positive impact on our customers' lives.\n\nYou're bringing a wealth of sorcery across C#, SQL, Cloud/AWS, WebApi/MVC and outstanding development practices/patterns.\n\nFRIENDS WITH BENEFITS\n\nWe're a high performing team of developers and we're looking for some exceptional team orientated developers to join our merry crew. This is a permanent opportunity that comes with:\n\n+ The ability to drive and improve the product with your ideas and insight\n\n+ Make a different to people's lives through technology and learn\n\n+ Highly attractive base salary, 12% Super, Leave loading\n\n+ And a sweet-as team based bonus (which we achieved last year)\n\nOur flat structure and energy ensures that everyone's opinion is heard and contributes directly to the future of the product, and as our capabilities grow, we can really see teams forming under our Senior Devs.\n\nThis really is an extremely rare opportunity; be part of a team of where your unique talent and capabilities will be recognised, rewarded and revered.\n\nON-SITE OR WORK REMOTELY\n\nWhile we are based in beautiful sunny Sydney, it's not a requirement to have you work in the office.\n\nWe're looking for self starters who can work remotely, chip in to planning sessions and stand-up via Slack, and who are comfortable and productive working from their home or home office. If you want to work with us in Sydney you would be more than welcome however, it's certainly not a requirement.\n\nWhile other companies might talk about work-life balance, we actually live it and we want to share this opportunity with you.\n\nARE YOU READY?\n\nTake a look at our website at www.csrconnect.com.au and if you're keen to learn more, send an email to our Recruitment Advisor Sam Chan at [email protected] or call 02 9964 1237. This window is only open for a short time so make sure you jump on board quick!
