We aim to bring premier Bitcoin banking solutions that offer a full array of financial services to our clients. \n\nIn addition to Riverโs consumer-facing business, we launched a payments software business in late 2022 that utilizes Riverโs Lightning infrastructure and expertise. We are looking for a Lightning Software Account Executive to drive the development and execution of Riverโs Lightning software sales playbook. You will be the first sales hire for this line of business, reporting directly to Riverโs COO and working closely with the CEO. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, forward-thinking, and excited to build the future of Bitcoin payments and financial services.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\n\nDrive Lightning sales and business development efforts, including identifying prospects, building a sales pipeline, and managing deals through negotiation and onboarding\n\nDevelop a deep understanding of the Lightning, Bitcoin, and crypto ecosystem\n\nCraft a compelling pitch for Lightning and Riverโs Lightning infrastructure offering\n\nDevelop and systematize an efficient sales process, incorporating enterprise SaaS sales best practices\n\nThink creatively and critically about target customers and how to best win them\n\nBuild relationships with industry executives\n\nOwn pricing negotiations and inform Riverโs pricing strategy\n\nPartner with Product and Engineering to provide feedback on the product roadmap and serve as the voice of the customer\n\nCollaborate with Marketing and Research to develop content and improve Riverโs brand awareness as a Lightning infrastructure provider\n\nStrategically allocate your time and budget on high impact efforts\n\n\nTravel to conferences and industry events, including international travel\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat we look for in you\n\n\nDemonstrated success selling a technical product at a startup or high growth technology company\n\nExperience selling directly to CTOs and Product Managers; you will have support from Riverโs Engineering team, but are expected to gain a strong understanding of the product\n\nExcitement for Bitcoin and understanding of Lightning\n\nStrong pipeline management and organizational skills\n\nResults-focused, entrepreneurial, innovative, and eager to build\n\nDemonstrated partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams\n\nWillingness to experiment and iterate\n\nStrong writer and communicator\n\nTechnical background or education\n\nWillingness to travel to conferences and client meetings; travel will be up to monthly in the first year\n\n\n\n\nNice to haves\n\n\nExperience as an early salesperson, playing a key role in the growth of the sales organization and systematization of sales processes\n\n\n\n\nSalary and benefits \n\n\nTotal compensation range of $125,000-$200,000 based on salary and commission\n\nUncapped commission potential\n\nBenefits include \n\n\n\nCompetitive compensation and equity\n\nFully remote option policy, with offices in San Francisco, Columbus OH, and NYC\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n\n401k\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
