\nNEAR Foundation is hiring a Paralegal to join our Legal team. This individual will provide comprehensive support to the legal team across several key areas, including KYC/AML, document preparation, research, and contract management. Furthermore, the individual will support vendor management and general legal operations. Ideally, This individual can take ownership of some of these tasks and work autonomously.\n\nYou will\n\n\n* Take ownership of AML/KYC duties and escalate issues\n\n* Be meticulous at record keeping \n\n* Assist in contract management process and risk management & mitigation\n\n* Assist in contract drafting and review as needed\n\n\n\n\nYou have\n\n\n* Had legal or compliance training and/or experience of working within a law firm or legal department.\n\n* Familiarity with KYC/AML regulations and processes. Ability to take ownership of processes, identify red flags, and offer new ideas. \n\n* Familiarity with various contracts and ability to thoroughly review simple contracts and provide feedback/edits. \n\n* A highly organized and self-starter personality.
