Remote Senior Security Risk Governance Analyst

\nAbout the Role\n\nYou are a fearless, seasoned security professional with an interest in new and emerging technology. You can work on tight deadlines with little guidance and are well-versed in risk, security, and controls. You can get to the root of a problem and you are familiar with frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS.  You are adept at documenting vendor reviews, procedures, and exceptions in a rapidly changing company environment, and are comfortable leading risk workshops, vendor interviews, and managing reviews and assessments through to completion.\n\nFor Colorado based roles: \nIn accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of 119,000.00 - 165,300.00 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. \n\n \n\nIn this role, you can expect to\n\n\n* Deliver high-quality third party security reviews and evidence\n\n\n* Due diligence requests\n\n* Ongoing monitoring \n\n\n* Help drive joint Security, Risk, and Compliance initiatives \n\n\n* PCI-DSS compliance\n\n* SOC2 and ISO27001 certifications\n\n\n* Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and controls testing for critical areas\n\n* Help define KPIs, KRIs, and dashboards for reporting to management\n\n* Develop or source training content and ensure training of employees and contractors using a learning management system (LMS)\n\n* Create operational runbooks and establish security baselines and standards\n\n* Cross-collaborate to formalize the Security Architecture Review process with Security Engineering, Application, and Infrastructure Security\n\n\n\n\n \n\nTo thrive in this role, you have\n\n\n* Experience conducting third party audits, risk assessments, and controls testing\n\n* Experience using a vulnerability management tool and managing risk exceptions\n\n* The ability to document procedures and runbooks for the security program\n\n* Experience in a position focused primarily on information security and/or security program management\n\n* Familiarity with frameworks like SOC2, NIST 800/NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS\n\n* A security certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent\n\n\n\n\n \n\nA little about us\n\nAt Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress. This work takes many forms, but includes supporting our teams in the evaluation and selection of new vendors, helping negotiate contracts and pricing, and evolving Wealthsimple's vendor approval process. Your job will be to help Wealthsimple make smarter decisions and evolve the vendor approval process to ensure it's meeting the needs of the business as we continue to grow. \n\n\n\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\n* Lead the procurement and vendor management function at Wealthsimple.\n* Oversee procurement policies, such as supplier selection criteria, contract guidelines, payment terms and supplier diversity.\n* Partner with the Legal team in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, renewals and termination of services and provide functional leaders with competitive RFP processes and benchmarking to aid in vendor selection.\n* Leverage procurement intake software to notify and consult with relevant stakeholders in the vendor approval workflow on potential risks, such as data and privacy risk, third-party vendor risk, credit risk and operational risk. \n* Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships by partnering with the supplier relationship manager and the functional leader in evaluating supplier performance and issue resolution to unlock cost savings and manage auto renewals.\n* Support the implementation of our new procurement intake software, Zip, ensuring that approval workflows in the system are effective and efficient for all teams that are a part of the process.\n\n\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n* 5+ years of demonstrated success in a procurement or vendor management role within the procurement team at an established and fast moving business with at least 300 vendors and an annual vendor spend of ~$75MM.\n* Experience negotiating complex vendor contracts, particularly with technology vendors (experience with SaaS contracts is an asset), including a track-record of achieving improved contract economics.\n* Experience successfully managing millions of dollars of annual vendor spend and the ability to identify and execute on cost savings opportunities.\n* Experience aligning contracts with regulatory and legal requirements.\n* Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail.\n* A bachelor's degree; Advanced degree is a plus.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy Wealthsimple?\n๐Ÿค‘ Competitive Salary with top-tier health benefits and life insurance\n๐Ÿ“ˆ Retirement savings matching plan using Wealthsimple Work\n๐ŸŒด 20 vacation days per year and unlimited sick and mental health days\n๐Ÿ“š Up to $1500 per year towards wellness and professional development budgets respectively \n๐Ÿ›ซ 90 days away program: Employees can work internationally in eligible countries for up to 90 days per calendar year \n๐ŸŒŽ A wide variety of peer and company-led Employee Resource Groups (ie.
