You may either work in our office (Brno, London or Istanbul) or code remotely from a home office. It is also preferable that you are within a few hours of the CET timezone as this is where most of the developers are based. \n\nWith you will work on an exciting open-source project that rocks the scene of distributed caching and computing, the Hazelcast IMDG.\n\nSkills & requirements\n\nWe would like you to:\n\n\n* Be a senior Java engineer - including all aspects connected to it.\n\n* Have and understanding of and interest in:\n\n\n\n* networking\n\n* distributed systems\n\n* concurrency\n\n* serialisation\n\n* garbage-collection\n\n* database design\n\n* core java knowledge, such as the Java Memory Model\n\n\n\n* Be skeptical yet always open to new concepts.\n\n* Have strong opinions about software quality.\n\n* Be an excellent communicator in written and spoken English.\n\n\n
