We have an aggressive roadmap ahead and things move quickly. We are building a world-class growth engineering team with diversified skills and backgrounds and looking for you who can be part of this team and growth.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING\n\nMedal is currently growing 100% organically already, and retention is high. You are joining as an accelerator, not as someone who is in charge of creating growth in the first place.\nYou will work directly with the executive team to do experiments, both internally and externally with game developers and game communities. We will seek out opportunities that create both certain incremental growth and uncertain exponential growth. We will not work on larger projects, but rather the biggest short-term gains for growth.\n\nAs a team, we favor progress, learning, and speed, over perfection.\n\nESSENTIAL SKILLS\n\n* Have a detailed understanding of the games industry on both mobile and PC\n\n* Take ownership and set metrics and goals\n\n* Deep experience with product analytics at scale (e.g. SQL, Mixpanel, Amplitude)\n\n* Have a technical background similar to that of a full-stack engineer as you will work across the stack\n\n\n\nAdditionally, we need you to\n\n\n* Enjoy dogfooding what you are working on to understand the ins, outs and value of the Medal platform\n\n* High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills — not only being good at it, but genuinely enjoying it!\n\n* Overseeing end-to-end growth experiments design, build, QA, and release\n\n* Prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively\n\n* Work effectively with minimal supervision\n\n* Be entrepreneurial & team player, with an enthusiasm for early-stage startups and high speed\n\n\n\n\nBONUS\n\n\n* Startup experience: technical founder/co-founder, growth, or data roles\n\n* Experience in data analysis (running split tests, developing metrics, optimize data collection)\n\n* Experience with Discord\n\n\n\n\nOUR STACK:\n\n\n* Desktop/Web: React, Electron, C# and C++\n\n* Mobile: Swift, Objective C, Java, Kotlin\n\n* Backend: REST, Java, Cloudflare, Digital Ocean, Google Cloud, Fastly\n\n* Analytics: Mixpanel\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL GET\n\n\n* Full Medical for employee and two dependents\n\n* Full Dental and Vision for employee and all dependents\n\n* Paid parental leave: 20 weeks for primary caregiver and 12 weeks for secondary\n\n* Unlimited PTO (4+ weeks standard)\n\n* 401K\n\n* Team retreats\n\n* A flexible, laid back office environment\n\n* All the fun and frolics that come with working at a gaming company\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU'LL HAVE TO DO NOW\n\nWe hope to hear from you!
