\nHere’s the opportunity!\n\nWe’re Crain Communications, a well-established media company, and for decades we’ve been a leading voice in Business to Business Media. We’ve got great digital properties - AdAge.com, Creativity-online.com, Autoweek.com, Autonews.com, CrainsNewYork.com, just to name a few - that we need to make better, stronger, faster.  We need your PHP super powers to do that.\n\nPosition will be New York, Detroit OR Remote based.\n\n\nHow we work!\n We are an agile shop, keen to use industry best practices and the best tools possible to do our work. Your ideas on how to work more effectively will get immediate attention and rapid implementation. We’re a small, friendly group, passionate about our work and serious about creating great software. We want to work with other friendly, seriously passionate people. We are user-focused and we are creating software that is used by people. The better our software works, the happier people will be and the happier we will be.\n\n\nWho you are!\n\nYou have expert knowledge of PHP and MySQL. You spend serious time honing your craft, knowing what’s next, incrementally improving your skills and your work. You have fluency in object-oriented concepts and software design patterns. Your backend skills are legend and your front-end skills are pretty sharp, too, but honestly, maybe you're not totally up-to-speed with all the latest front-end gadgetry. You're a full(ish) stack engineer. We're OK with that.
