\nAbout the Role \n\nCrowdStrike is seeking a software engineer who wants to work at scale, be challenged, and take on a highly impactful role in the Auth engineering team. Your experience working with delegated authorization schemes and common interoperability standards (SAML, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, OpenAPI, Swagger) will be applied in CrowdStrike’s highly scalable and performance-intensive microservice architecture. Solid experience with large horizontally scalable web services, open source tools and libraries and multi-tenant architecture is highly desirable.\n\nIf you want a job that makes a difference in the world and operates at high scale, you’ve come to the right place.\n\nWhat you will need\n\n\n* MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience\n\n* A solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges\n\n* Experience with authentication and authorization standards, such as OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID Connect\n\n* Golang experience is highly desirable\n\n* Experience building RESTful microservices \n\n* Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) \n\n\n\n\nYou will also bring\n\n\n* Team player skills – we embrace collaborating as a team as much as possible\n\n* A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture.\n\n* The ability to thrive in a fast paced, test-driven, collaborative and iterative programming environment.\n\n* The skills to meet your commitments on time and produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.\n\n* Ability to brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.\n\n* Experience with shipping high quality software in a cloud environments\n\n* Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance\n\n* Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering\n\n* Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems development: OS internals and OS system engineering concepts, concurrency models, networking, authentication and authorization, and API development\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points \n\n\n* Authored or lead open source libraries and projects\n\n* Experience with macaroons or ORY Hydra\n\n* Experience building an identity provider\n\n* Contributions to the open source community (Blogging, Stack Overflow, Github)\n\n* Exposure to any of the following: Kafka, Elastic Search, Containers / Kubernetes\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
