\nbetaworks is looking for an experienced NodeJS to undertake an adventure with a creative team building new realities in social messaging apps. The right person should get excited about new technology, mobile apps, and working on a yet-to-be-released product currently in incubation as part of our Hacker in Residence program.\n\nThe best application will:\n\n\n* be a highly productive problem-solver\n\n* be both data-driven and creative\n\n* have 2-4 years experience with NodeJS, MongoDB, or similar\n\n* able to scale an app from 1 to hundreds of thousands of users\n\n* developed mobile APIs with authentication\n\n* capable of handling API versioning and data management\n\n* comfortable doing basic front-end development & deployment strategies\n\n* enjoys writing spec tests for everything\n\n* have good, clear communication skills\n\n\n\n\nBonus points for those who:\n\n\n* have made their own projects in the past\n\n* have done quality assurance testing\n\n* are opinionated and vocal\n\n* enjoy the intersection of art and technology\n\n* knowledge of AWS Lambda and other AWS services\n\n\n\n\nYou will play an integral role in the product team, and will report directly to the project lead. This will be a 3 month contractor position with potential to become full-time employment.
