\nMarket America, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer in our IT environment.\n\nPosition Summary\n\nWill conduct thorough product testing using automation tools and techniques ensuring agreed upon quality standards are maintained in order to provide the highest quality software products to both external and internal customers. Works closely with the  QA Director, and SCRUM team on understanding the business requirements and objectives relative to the desired functionality of products and applications. The Test Automation Engineer will evaluate and test new or modified software to determine that software meets user requirements and established quality standards using automated techniques and best practices. Bring a commitment to QA, experience in performance testing, service level testing for API’s with Postman or Soap, and CICD experience. Ability to serve/grow to lead or senior engineer would be a plus.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nParticipate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including developing test plans, test cases, manual testing, automation, and execution of test scripts\n\nAnalyzes test cases and functional specifications to determine best approach for automating scripts.\n\nDevelops automated tests to augment manual testing.\n\nDocuments software issues and enhancement requests and assists development with concise and detailed steps for duplication of the problem.\n\nVerifies resolved Change Requests and maintains accurate status for Change Requests entered in each project.\n\nMonitors progress against schedule. Assists fellow team members and customers with problem reporting and resolution and maintaining appropriate follow-up communications throughout the resolution process.\n\nEnsure all software products meet the highest quality possible by following industry recognized Q/A methodologies and best practices\n\nComplies with company policies and procedures. \n\nPerforms other duties as needed.\n\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Math, or related field preferred\n\n3 plus years experience in test automation / software development preferred\n\n3 plus years designing and developing automated testing and writing test plans and cases\n\n3 plus years experience in a Quality Assurance role\n\n3 plus years in a technology environment or company\n\n3 plus years JAVA experience\n\n3 plus years SQL experience preferred\n\n3 plus years Selenium experience would be preferred, but not required\n\nExperience with API/Service testing a plus\n\nExperience with CI/CD or DevOps a plus\n\nSkills\n\nAbove moderate levels English reading comprehension, writing, and speaking, critical thinking, complex problem solving, analysis and evaluations, trouble shooting, judgment, active listening, mathematics, and programming.\n\n\n \n Market America offers competitive salary and generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and an on-site health clinic.\n \n Qualified candidates should apply online.
