After closing a ยฃ3.5M round of investment led by LEGO, we are growing our engineering team to build world-class educational tools for teachers and their students, around the world.\n\nOur mission is to make the world happier and smarter. We're a small team working on big problems. Our product is already used by thousands of teachers and students and having a real impact on their teaching, in 2019 alone we saw:\n\n* 280k assignments set by teachers using Eedi\n* 15 million questions answered by student\n* 6 million student misconceptions identified\n\nBut this is just the start, we have big plans. We're looking for someone to work within the product development team to develop and maintain the current platform as well as create new features. You'll have a lot of say in how these features get implemented.\n\nYou'll work in an agile (small A) environment and deploy code regularly. As we're a small team, you'll need to be someone who is willing & happy to get involved in lots of different areas.\n\nWe like data (our business is based on it!) so we're looking for a person who's analytical and driven by the numbers rather than their own intuition.\n\nWe like to work with people who are self-motivated, entrepreneurial and down to earth.\n\nSo, if you enjoy building full stack applications from the ground up, leveraging the latest technologies to delight users and want to make a difference in the lives of teachers, students and parents, then youโve found the right place! \n\n# Requirements\n* 5+ years experience in backend, or full-stack engineering.\n* Work experience, open-source code, or coursework in ASP.NET / .NET Core / C#.\n* SQL experience (particularly SQL Server / SSMS)\n* Modern JavaScript framework experience (React, Angular or similar)\n* Experience with web development best practices such as A/B testing, continuous integration\n\n**Nice to haves:**\n\n* .NET Core 2.2+ / Entity Framework 6 / EF Core experience\n* Azure, AWS, Firebase or Google Cloud hosting experience\n* TDD or BDD experience\n* Integration / Unit testing experience\n* Node.js\n* Docker / Kubernetes\n* Microservices / Event driven architecture\n* Server management / DevOps \n\nPlease mention the words **CAR COUNTRY INTACT** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy45My4xNzMuMjA1).
