**Tribe - a global sports startup based** in New Zealand and the Czech Republicย is hiring a developer. **We'reย looking for talented Javascript developer **(can be either backend, frontend or full stack). **We're a 100% remote team, and have both revenue and traction.**\n\nTribe is a single destination for sport that is changing how people follow and consume sports results, news and information.\n\n# Responsibilities\n
**Responsibilities for backend developer:**\n\nSpeed and accurate information is everything in the sports results world. As we're growing, the API and other services are becoming slower. We need to optimise, cache data, rewrite parts and build tools that help us identify weak spots. The challenge is that most of the time there is relatively little traffic, but during the busy times (when big games are on, largely over the weekend) our usage sky-rockets and the servers are unable to cope. \n\n**Responsibilities for frontend developer:**\n\nBesides the free consumer app (Ionic) we provide widgets (React) to big media partners (news media, broadcasters, betting agencies), who put these in their apps and on their websites. We're planning to build a web version of Tribe and the vision is to have one codebase for app / web / widget in React. \n\n# Requirements\n- Awesome JavaScript skills.\n- Frontend: experience with React apps (ideally big ones).\n- Backend: experience with micro service NodeJS architecture, AWS and MongoDB.\n- Proactive,ย ability to work independently - we're a small, remote dev team.\n- Willing to learn new things!\n\n**Offering:**\n\n- Work remotely from anywhere in the world.\n- Opportunity to work on an interesting product, with a global reach and user base.\n- Compensation negotiable based on experience.\n- Potential for equity. \n\nPlease mention the words **NEGLECT HOLLOW NATION** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMzQuMjM3LjI0NS44MA==).
