\n Senior Software Engineer (Global) Flexible Location\n\n\nLocation: Home Office\n\nSUSE Containers team is a cluster of people building the next-generation container orchestration platform.\n\nWe take pride in what we deliver here at SUSE on the Container as a Service Platform team. We are building the most easy and open solution in existence to help you manage your enterprise Kubernetes clusters, on premise or in the cloud.\n\nWe need you as a Senior Software Engineer to make use of many of the open source projects around the Kubernetes ecosystem and help us build a highly available, microservice based distributed systemsutilising some of the latest cuttingedge container technologies.\n\nKernel to Kubernetes and beyond!\n\nWe are looking for someone who loves to dabble in everything from automation, to systems engineering, to operations. Someone who enjoys working on complex problems and isn’t afraid to span the stack from network architecture all the way to contributions to Kubernetes. You should have an analytical mind, experience with computer science concepts and development processes, and a keen interest to learn new things. You will be able to articulate these ideas and assist in bringing these technologies to our customers and partners.\n\nAt SUSE, we're strongly committed to open source and we contribute to numerous free and open projects and initiatives. As a member of the SUSE Containers as a Service team you will have the opportunity to contribute to Kubernetes and various other open source projects. One way we do this is by hosting regular FOSS-themed “hack weeks,” where all developers (and we mean it) are encouraged to work on any project of their choosing, either individually or as a team.
