#### About the Role\nWe are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team and have an immediate impact building our platform. Since we are a small team you will work directly with management and other stakeholders to design, implement, test, deliver and support new features. You will work alongside the CTO to drive innovation and define the technical direction that takes our platform to the next level. Additionally, you will work with the PM to create meaningful requirements and pragmatic solutions by understanding our business, our market, our users and their problems.\n\nThis is a **fully remote position** and you **MUST be located within Europe** (EU/EEA) and willing to work mostly during our standard working hours (~9:00-18:00 CET). You will join an existing distributed team that is used to working remotely.\n\n#### Your Responsibilities\nBuild and take ownership of components of the Picstars Platform\nWrite production-grade, robust and well-tested code, primarily in Go using a serverless paradigm\nImplement data analysis technologies and algorithms to get value from social media and influencer data\nTranslate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into high quality code\nKeep quality high by writing tests, participating in peer code review, keeping things simple and automating as much as possible.\nSupport the operations of the platform (Devops) along with the CTO.\n\n### Requirements\n* A degree in computer science OR equivalent experience as a backend engineer\n* 3+ years of experience building backend applications/services\n* Excellent understanding of Go and the Go ecosystem\n* Experience with backend development in Go including running Go code in production\n* Experience integrating REST-based APIs\n* Excellent written and verbal English\n\n### Nice to Have\n* Familiarity with other backend languages - Java, Ruby, C/C++, PHP\n* Experience with "big data" and/or building data analysis tools\n* Experience with serverless/functions/lambda architectures and technologies\n* Experience with the AWS suite of technologies\n* Familiarity with PHP\n* Experience with relational databases - specifically Postgres\n* Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools (CI/CD)\n* Experience working remotely\n* Experience working in an agile environment and using Git, Jira, Google Docs and Confluence.\n* German language skills\n* Interested in and/or familiarity with influencer marketing and social media \n\nPlease mention the words **SUPREME BLOUSE VENTURE** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMy4xNDQuMjAyLjE2Nw==).
