Work independently or with other engineers to develop user experience-focused web applications, or provide support for existing systems.\n\nCollaborate with designers, HTML & CSS specialists, other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the end product.\n\nCapable of acting as technical lead on projects, setting direction and coordinating tasks among team members.\n\nAssist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.\n\nParticipate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.\n\nTier 2 support of production applications may be required on some projects.\n\nSome travel required. \n\n# Requirements\n**Must Haves**\n\nProficiency with JavaScript.\n\nExperience architecting complex frontends with React.js.\n\nFamiliarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.\n\nStrives to deliver performant and scalable software that adheres to Engineering best practices, testing, and code quality standards.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\n \n\n**Nice to Haves**\n\nPrevious remote working experience\n\nPrior client services, consulting, or freelancing experience\n\nExperience working with external APIs and microservices\n\n \n\nDockYard is an equal opportunity employer.
