Do you enjoy boring, err, educating your friend, family, and colleagues about such riveting topics as APIs, application vulnerabilities and security, refactoring existing code, user authentication flows and session management. Then we need you to help us craft strategy and technical blue prints and then leading teams to execute.\n\n\nYour role:\n\n\n* Work with a small team of engineers, to ensure product delivery and best engineering practices\n\n* Enjoy and have experience building APIs\n\n* Ability to think about systems as a whole and produce simple but scalable architecture\n\n* High quality code. We work in Java, Go\n\n* Generally, we pick the right tool for the job and are looking for great engineers over prowess in a particular language\n\n* Have an attention detail for and hold yourself to a high standard\n\n* You caught that\n\n* Setup continuous delivery process to enable continuous iteration on solutions\n\n* Work in an agile and highly collaborative environment\n\n* Help support team in resolving customer issues related to the product\n\n* Lead the creation of technical design documents and lead the communication of the architectural vision across functional areas\n\n* Review code, lead refactoring activities, provide guidance from technical perspective\n\n* Train and mentor new team members\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you’ve got:\n\n\n* BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Engineering\n\n* 5-8 years in a modern programming environment such as Java, Go or Node\n\n* 5+ year building and designing APIs\n\n* Knowledge of GraphQL or OData protocols a plus\n\n* Strong experience working with GitFlow\n\n* Familiarity with Test Driven Development practices\n\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills\n\n* Experience in Dev-Ops\n\n* Experience working in a team utilizing an agile approach\n\n* Strong, proven problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly analyze the most expedient method to recover business operations\n\n* Must be committed to a culture of continuous improvement\n\n* Exceptional customer service skills, in addition to extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\n\n* Excellent skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mediation, etc.)\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
