*Work with Stripe's most strategic partners to solve complex integration problems\n*\nOur Integration Engineering team is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our users while they are building their Stripe integrations. In the past year, this high-impact, mission-critical team has integrated large accounts such as Google, Facebook and Lyft. Spiking on both technical and business skills, Integration Engineers are engineering experts in external user discussions and user champions in internal engineering discussions. For Stripeโs most strategic users, the IE team utilizes its technical acumen to drive high-quality integrations while accelerating time-to-live. Using first-hand customer knowledge, Integration Engineers also impact product strategy, working with all parts of Stripe to ensure its offerings continue to satisfy its largest and most strategic usersโ needs.\n\n# Responsibilities\n
**You will:**\n* Interface directly with our largest usersโ technical teams, serving as their primary technical point of contact during integration\n* Understand user requirements and communicate how Stripe can solve their business and technical challenges, from high-level architecture to code implementation\n* Partner with Stripeโs Deployment and Account Management team in helping customers understand what is technically possible with Stripe\n* Create technical content (sample code, demos, etc.) to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices\n* Help improve Stripeโs products, working with product teams to address customer feedback, or if necessary, getting your hands dirty and build solutions yourself \n\n# Requirements\n**Weโre looking for someone who has:**\n* A strong technical generalist background\n* Comfort with code-level debugging (Stripe code and customer code)\n* Fluency in at least 2 programming languages with at least 2 years of production-level software developer experience\n* An empathetic, collaborative, communicative, and consultative work style\n* Confidence and comfort with customers\n* Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities\n* Intellectual curiosity, and great problem solving skills\n\n**Nice to haves:**\n* Be comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how Stripe works, both from a product feature and API architecture perspective\n* Have tinkered with a bunch of languages and services, with enough insight across the programming landscape to step into unfamiliar code and make sense of whatโs going on\n* Be able to think on your feet and dive into helping our users and partners with their technical issues\n* Excel at generating excitement around what Stripe is building within our prospects and users\n* Enjoy the puzzle of solving open-ended problems, both individually and as a member of our team\n* Empathize with users of all experience levels and see through their questions to quickly grasp the issues theyโre facing\n* Ability to travel for customer onsite sessions (1-3 per quarter, 1-2 days each) and quarterly team off-sites*\n \n\nPlease mention the words **CUBE FRIEND AUGUST** when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RNTQuOTAuMTY3Ljcz).
