\nGENERAL DESCRIPTION\n\nThe Mobile Engineer is responsible for customizing ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) mobile application and creating new functionality to support the goals and vision of ENERGY worldnet, Inc. using the latest development products and procedures. In addition, the Mobile Engineer will be responsible for data analysis stemming from the main software suite. Excellent communication skills and computer abilities are essential.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Develop and implement mobile application solutions for Android, iOS and Windows devices\n\n* Participates and contributes to all phases in building new digital products, including programming, defect correction, unit testing, code review and deployment planning\n\n* Work in an agile development environment (SCRUM programming)\n\n* Production monitoring and support as needed\n\n* Provides expertise on mobile current standards and cutting-edge technologies and frameworks\n\n* Partners closely with non-technical staff to define user requirements\n\n* Provides estimates for the work plan\n\n* Assists in producing and executes on well-documented technical designs\n\n* Advises on best practices for mobile UI design for the Google/Apple/Windows platforms\n\n* Recommend software solutions to benefit the organization\n\n* Compiles and documents procedures used throughout program development and revision as required\n\n* Share daily updates with the technology team via SCRUM (work completed, work pending, and/or impediments)\n\n* Performs related work as assigned\n\n\n\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS \n\n\n* At least 4 years of professional experience with C# and .NET\n\n* At least 4 years of professional experience with Xamarin Forms\n\n* Experience with consuming and understanding of web services\n\n* Native Android, iOS, and Windows development experience a plus\n\n* Strong Object-Oriented Programming background\n\n* Integration experience with back-end database or transactional systems\n\n* Experience with Agile, or Agile-based, development methodologies\n\n* Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent\n\n* Associates degree or above preferred\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES \n\nKnowledge of:\n\n\n* C# and MVVM\n\n* The principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis\n\n* Computer operations procedures and systems and of computer programming languages\n\n\n\n\nSkill in:\n\n\n* Problem solving\n\n* Critical thinking\n\n* Computer programming\n\n* The use of computer hardware and software\n\n\n\n\nAbility to:\n\n\n* Communicate effectively\n\n* Design programs and systems architecture\n\n* Prepare program specifications; to code, test, and debug computer programs\n\n* Interpret technical information related to computer programming and other areas of data processing\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KSA’s\n\n\n* Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field OR comparable experience\n\n* 4+ years’ experience with C# and .NET\n\n* Native Android, iOS and Windows development experience\n\n* Xamarin.Native and/or Xamarin.Forms experience\n\n\n\n\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\n\n\n* FLSA Classification (Exempt, Non-exempt): Exempt\n\n* Must be US citizen or green card holder\n\n* Must NOT reside in California, New Jersey, Hawaii, Alaska or Massachusetts\n\n* Travel Requirement (% of 40-hour work week): Quarterly meetings\n\n* Remote work eligible: Yes\n\n* Shift: 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm M-F\n\n* Environment: Although this position is remotely located, the person hired for this position will have to travel monthly to work out of our main office in Decatur, TX. They will physically work in Texas 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. one (1) week per month during their probationary period (first 90 days of employment).
