\nAre you passionate about universal / inclusive design and excited about working on applications with hundreds of thousands of users? Does it bother you when you see text that is too small to be read, colors that are not contrasted enough, or a website that is too difficult to navigate?\n\nIf so, we’d like you to learn about Files.com!\n\nAccessibility is not just about compliance here at Files.com. Sure, we have government contracts that require that we make our software accessible, but that’s not why we do it. We do it because we see it as our responsibility.\n\nAnd we’re looking for someone who can lead the charge at Files.com of making sure that everything we produce is usable by anyone.\n\nAs our in-house accessibility expert, you will identify accessibility gaps in existing product designs and other forms of communication and work toward resolving those.\n\nYou will also you will work closely with our design and engineering teams to educate us on best practices.\n\nAs a designer or frontend engineer, you will help craft world class products using a blend of industry-standard and cutting-edge tools.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\n* \n\n5+ years of directly applicable experience.\n\n\n* \n\nStrong familiarity with accessibility design principles and initiatives.\n\n\n* \n\nAbility to code from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.\n\n\n* \n\nPortfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web based applications, mobile applications & consumer facing web sites and/or applications.\n\n\n* \n\nComfort coding and implementing your UI/UX design decisions.\n\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\n* \n\nCertification(s): CPACC, WAS, or CPWA.\n\n\n* \n\nExperience working on heavily trafficked web and mobile applications.\n\n\n* \n\nPrevious work with a SaaS company.\n\n\n* \n\nContributions to major open source projects.\n\n\n\n
