\nSoftware Development Engineer in Test (SDET)\n \n Location: Remote (WFH) or Arlington, VA (Rosslyn)\n \n Thermopylae Sciences and Technology, a fast-paced technology company focused on delivering innovative software solutions to customers across private and public sectors, is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our awesome development team. \n \n We are looking for a sharp, bright, and proactive individual who can help enable our teams to coordinate and prioritize activities that enhance software quality with a focus on automation and coverage.\n \n TST Products\n http://www.t-sciences.com/products\n \n Google Earth Enterprise Open Source \n http://www.opengee.org/\n \n GitHub Site\n https://github.com/google/earthenterprise/\n \n \n Job Requirements\n\n\n* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or IT\n\n* Minimum 6 years' of relevant experience\n\n* Deep experience with most aspects of software testing: installation, functional, performance, load, integration, automation, and regression\n\n* Experience testing with web-based and Linux CLI (command line interface) software\n\n* Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems\n\n* Experience with one or more automated functional testing frameworks (Gauge, Selenium, etc.)\n\n* Experience with one or more unit-testing frameworks (GTest, PyUnit, any Javascript framework, etc.)\n\n* Experience applying testing frameworks at scale on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)\n\n* Working knowledge of any of the following formal languarges: Python, C/C++, Java, Swift, Ruby, Groovy, JavaScript\n\n\n\n\n\n Additional experience desired\n\n\n* Working background in geospatial technology and software\n\n* Experience with code coverage analysis software\n\n\n\n\n\nJob Duties\n\n\n* Assist scrum teams in identifying code quality process deficiencies in their day-to-day work\n\n* Assist management in identifying quality process deficiencies that impact product releases\n\n* Lead by example in the conversion of manual testing procedures to automated workflows to include functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, load testing, and stress testing\n\n* Evaluate new and alternative tools and methods for testing software and cloud deployments\n\n* Assist in the collection and maintenance of quality metrics for regular team and stakeholder reports\n\n* Maintain internal documentation on quality workflows and team working agreements\n\n\n\n\n\n \n Thermopylae Sciences & Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
