Position Summary\n\nThe Digital Optimization Analyst plays a critical role at LendingTree by working with our SEO Analysts in evaluating on-site consumer behavior and creating and running tests (optimizations) across digital properties to drive audience engagement and revenue growth. Impacting all parts of the business, the Analyst will drive insights leading to revenue-generating actions and will participate in key conversations across the Design, Content, SEO, and Optimization Teams. This role will work specifically with our SEO group to analyze the terms that are driving traffic to our properties, understand the intent of those visitors, and tailor our marketing message accordingly.\n\n\nLendingTree was founded in 1996 by CEO Doug Lebda to help people comparison shop and get a great deal on the single biggest transaction of their lives: their mortgage. Since then, we’ve helped over 30 million people in the home buying process, while becoming a household name (our brand recognition rivals Bank of America and Wells Fargo). \n\nThrough our various products, we serve as an indispensable ally for consumers who are looking to comparison shop for loans, home improvement, insurance, educational institutions and autos. We’re publicly traded (TREE), we’re financially sound and we’re on a tear. If you’re looking for an opportunity with a dynamic company that is fanatically pro-consumer and that champions your entrepreneurial spirit, then you’ve come to the right place!  \n\n\nCULTURE\nOur clothes are casual and relaxed, and our work ethic is highly professional. It is our culture for each team member to challenge the status quo, express their opinions, and to stand up, ask for the ball and run with it to meet our aggressive goals. \n \nWe’re always looking for the best and brightest. If you’re serious about learning SEO to launch your career in digital marketing, or take it to the next level, we want you on our team. We reward innovation, creativity and the ability to just GET STUFF DONE. \n\n# Responsibilities\n The day-to-day:\n\nInsight Generation & Analysis: Insights from delving into analytics platforms (digital analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEO industry tools like aHrefs, databases, Excel, etc.). Evaluate customer journeys across web properties to improve customer experience and drive revenue. Evaluate KPIs across businesses and make recommendations to improve against benchmarks. \n\nWebsite Optimization: Provide recommendations for conversion optimization without sacrificing search result visibility, set up test design, and execute tests according to plan. Follow up with deeper analysis to determine best next steps following a test.  Evangelize test learnings and takeaways across relevant business units.\n\nTool/Technology Implementation: Collaborate with development team to highlight requirements for implementation (placing tags on the site, data capture requirements, etc.)\nData Integration and Visualization: Extract data, manipulate, explore data using quantitative, statistical and visualization tools, including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Heap, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics / Omniture.\nOther duties as assigned.\n \n\n# Requirements\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\n\nBachelor’s Degree\n\nCore courses in a quantitative field such as Business/Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology, etc. preferred\n1-2 years of experience in digital analytics, digital marketing analytics, website optimization, or related field\n\nExposure to digital analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, VWO, Optimizely, Monetate, and other leading platforms\n\nProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)\n\nLooking for enthusiastic self-starters who are curious, eager to learn new tools/technologies/approaches and not afraid to challenge the status quo.\n\nAbility to effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, and prioritize appropriately.\n\nAbility to collect and synthesize data from disparate data sources and to analyze data and trends.\n\nAbility to work independently and/or collaborate with others as needed.\n\nStrong attention to detail, yet ability to see the big picture strategy as well.\n\nStrong project management skills. (Familiarity with agile principles preferred.)\n\nExperience with SEO campaigns a large plus.\n\nWillingness to learn SEO fundamentals to ensure test recommendations do not conflict with SEO best practices.\nCOMPANY
