\nWe’re looking for a hands-on strategic infrastructure engineering and administration leader to help take the business into the next phase of growth. As the content intelligence service, our service to customers relies on a high-performing infrastructure, governed by controls and standards. This person will lead the evolution of our infrastructure architecture, security planning, and compliance, as we exponentially grow our distributed company.\n\nThis is a remote role that can be done from anywhere in the US or Latin America (LATAM). Currently a part-time role, this position will become full time as we grow. As an early leader, you will have the opportunity to carve out a path that suits your lifestyle goals by influencing role definition and involvement level over time.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nArchitecture and Design\n\nIn order to deliver solutions to enterprise clients, [A] works with a mixture of environments, with a heavier emphasis on Azure, to properly develop, test, host and deploy technical solutions which often cases are related to setting up content, web, and mobile applications within cloud-hosted and / or virtual machine environments.\n\nIn order to facilitate the anticipated scale, we need to grow IT infrastructure maturity, including:\n\n\n* Security\n\n* Identity Management and SSO\n\n* Asset Management\n\n* Compliance Management\n\n* Database Management\n\n* License Management\n\n* Risk Management\n\n* Vendor Management\n\n* Server Support\n\n* Desktop Support\n\n* DNS Support\n\n* Monitoring\n\n* Content Distribution (CDN)\n\n\n\n\nThese competencies will evolve and mature over time under your leadership, but represent our currently identified areas of IT support needed both near and long term.\n\nSystem Administration\n\nHere are the nuts and bolts of some of the hands-on work you’ll perform.\n\n\n* System administration and support\n\n* Security management\n\n* Provisioning\n\n* Performance monitoring/assessment\n\n* Identify opportunity for standardization of systems and processes\n\n* Ensure up-time of production systems\n\n* Recommend, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance processes, standards and tools to ensure optimal system up-time of production systems\n\n* While several [A]gents (team members) are tech savvy, we also have [A]gents that are not and will require help desk assistance on an as-needed basis\n\n\n\n\nYou May Be A Good Match If You Have\n\n\n* Experience supporting complex enterprise accounts\n\n* Excellent collaboration and communication skills\n\n* You have proven yourself to be a hands-on contributor who can think creatively. A passion for driving a plan for a high-growth environment.\n\n* Strong network design and implementation experience. Understanding of Powershell for Windows, Hyper-V. Seasoned Azure platform knowledge.
