\nWho we are\n\nNeybox is a small profitable company. We build mobile applications for iOS that have a positive impact on the health and well-being of millions of individuals worldwide. We are best known for Pillow, our sleep tracking app and Today a habit tracking with a quantified-self approach. Our name is a bit weird, we know :)\n\nWorking at Neybox is really straightforward. You won’t have to deal with arcane corporate hierarchy and byzantine bureaucratic rules. We’re just a small team working closely together, with specific roles, trying to create something great while enjoying ourselves in the process. Everyone is either an engineer or a technically skilled designer, so you won’t have to “translate” anything.\n\nWho we're looking for\n\nWe’re looking for someone that will enjoy being involved and being an essential part of every step of the process of creating and evolving a great product. From the deep inner workings of the application’s backend architecture and scaling to polishing the animations of the UI and working with our support team to diagnose an issue that a user is having.\n\nOur team size allows everyone to be equally involved and have a clear view of the big picture. We’re always open to challenging problems, suggestions, crazy ideas, experiments, new methodologies and heated debates about editor preferences. We don’t have an endless list of projects that won’t let you focus. We won’t bore you with a single never-ending subtask of a subtask. Meetings and interruptions are always kept to a minimum.\n\nNote: We are not looking for a freelance developer who's searching for another client project to work with and move on. We are looking for someone who is willing to work with us in as a full-time exclusive member of our team.\n\nA day at Neybox\n\nAt the start of the day, we do quick catch-up online with our ongoing tasks, prioritize anything new and update our estimates. Right after that, you will be working either alone or with a member of the team developing new features, squashing bugs, prototyping, updating the UI or experimenting with new technology. We break for lunch around noon and resume around an hour later. We have regular meetings whenever needed to discuss, coordinate, exchange ideas or gather feedback. That's it.\n\nThe experience and skills that we require\n\n\n* Fluency with Swift and Objective-C with at least three years of professional experience as an iOS developer involved in at least one real-world application or project that you can show us. \n\n* Excellent understanding of UIKit, Core Animation, GCD, Core Data and WatchKit.\n\n* Experience working with Git version control and Unit testing.\n\n* Experience in performance profiling with Instruments on Xcode.\n\n* Very basic knowledge of Photoshop and Sketch to handle UI deliverables.\n\n* Fully comfortable working and communicating in English, both in writing and speaking.\n\n* Always willing to learn and experiment with new technologies. \n\n* What we offer\n\n\n\n\nWe offer a great salary, paid vacation time, financial support for opportunities that will help you grow as professional and individual and perhaps most importantly, the conditions to do great work that matters.\n\nIf that sounds like what you're looking for, just apply for the position and we'll reach to set up a meeting to get to know you better.
