We are a fast-growing company, and are constantly striving to deliver more value to our customers.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Implement new features and functionality across the full stack of our primary product, using PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, and Javascript MVC.\n\n* Improve, upgrade, and maintain existing workflows in our application\n\n* Enthusiastically engage in both product-related and technical discussions\n\n* Continuously evaluate and incorporate new ideas and technologies\n\n* Participate in code reviews from other engineers, considering robustness, edge cases, usability, and general reliability\n\n* Be confident releasing production-ready code with high visibility, considering our substantial user base\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Strong computer science fundamentals\n\n* Proficiency in both front end UI/UX development and back end system development\n\n* 4+ years of professional software development experience\n\n* 2+ years of Ruby on Rails experience on a medium/large customer-facing web application\n\n* Experience with standard web technologies (HTML, HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, REST)\n\n* Excellent communication and collaboration skills\n\n\n\n\nNice-to-Haves\n\n\n* Experience with AWS - EC2, RDS, S3, and more\n\n* Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks - React or Backbone.js\n\n* Formal software education in modern web application development and design\n\n* Published code on Github or another code collaboration tool\n\n* Ability to build unit test coverage of implemented features, Rspec preferred\n\n* Ability to write feature tests with Capybara/Selenium\n\n\n\n\nTechnologies - Our Stack\n\n\n\n* Ruby on Rails\n\n* PostgreSQL\n\n* AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)\n\n* Chef & Serverspec\n\n* JavaScript\n\n* React\n\n* Backbone.js\n\n* Sass, CSS\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\nSeattle, WA.
