\nThe development team at Catch Co works together to build a digital platform that serves as the foundation for running and scaling all aspects of our fishing subscription box, Mystery Tackle Box, and our e-commerce store, Karl's Bait & Tackle. Other team members work from home throughout the United States.\n\n\n\n\nWe look for a track record of the following:\n\n\n* A deep understanding of Magento 1.9+ and PHP7 development with a proven ability to create custom modules and supporting extensions/3rd party modules.\n\n* Developing and supporting front-end tasks including Magento theming, template modifications, custom Javascript, and crafting CSS/SCSS using Bootstrap 4.x.\n\n* Quickly obtaining a deep technical understanding of new domains.\n\n* Effective use of the Git source control system to branch, merge and create pull requests.\n\n* Staying abreast of current topics and trends in the larger software development community.\n\n* Passion for software development and technology.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will do:\n\n\n* Apply your Magento & eCommerce knowledge to maintain our existing Magento store and develop new features.\n\n* Translate wireframes and designs provided by our UX/UI team into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS designs that are responsive and cross-browser compatible.\n\n* Subject your code to peer review and participate in reviewing the code of other team members.\n\n* Profile and optimize your code to ensure scalability and performance in a distributed production environment.\n\n\n\n\nOur recruitment process:\n\nWe aim to reply to qualified applicants within a week of receiving an application.
